Glad we didn't get blown out....but it really was painful watching them miss those dunks and layups....

the celtics missed a million shots inside. Please, for the love of God, stop blaming the refs everytime you lose.

Celtics and Patriots fans always with the refs/leagues out to get them. Would have no idea how many titles this fanbase has enjoyed.

I don't think he's complaining about it being one-sided, just that there were too many calls. I agree. The game was painfully slow at times, with whistles blown for phantom fouls on both sides all game. The JR Smith foul on Rozier's 3 is a prime example, and that was a horrible call against CLE.

There were 49 PFs called between both teams. That's about one every minute of game time. Yuck.

As good as we played in games 3 and 4, I dont feel great about gane 5. The only thing really working in the Cavs favor here is that all the pressure shifted toward Boston - with their road struggles they will be seeing this game as a must win.

I dont think so. The Celtics are playing with house money and dont have any pressure to perform. if the role players for Cavs show up even defensively for game 5, it's a wrap.

I get why you're saying that with Kyrie and Hayward being hurt - but after being up 2-0, that notion probably went away for the players. They obviously want to win anyways, but after smelling the blood in the water in games 1 and 2, I'm guessing they all thought they really would win this series.

At the same time, their road woes have probably become mental at this point - those two factors combine IMO to create a game 5 where all the pressure is on the Celtics. They lose, series over (in their minds). The Cavs have two shots to win in Boston with arguably the greatest game 7 player in NBA history.

Gotta give Ty lue credit when he deserves it aswell. Putting TT in everytime Al Horford when in was a solid coaching move. Aswell as increasing Nance's minutes and decreasing Clarckson's & Hood. Now if he'd let Cedi play some meaningful minutes I'll be really happy.

Interesting stat: during the playoff, the Celtics are 9-0 at home and 1-6 away, and the 1 is the Sixers' suicide in game 3

My point is he is still on a top 3 most talented team for about 8 years straight but yet he has an excuse for every finals loss

Cavs might be top 3 most talented with LeBron, but without him that's a 25 win team. Compare that to Warriors where they're a 55+ win team even without Curry or Durant. Night and day.

Every star besides the warriors and rockets would happily trade supporting casts and if the pre durant warriors didn't have curry they would also struggle to make the playoffs and this 25 win bs is ridiculous even without lebron the team is talented it's just the way he plays makes his team better but it doesn't make his teammates look good

It was super obvious move. And one of the few he could do.
Good assessment:

I don't disagree with anything except the Cavs without LeBron not being 25 win team. We've seen that movie before, from 61 wins to 19 wins with LeBron being the only real loss.

Thats ridiculous. Teams i'd easily take with Lebron over Cavs with Lebron

Raptors (minus Lowry or Derozan)
Celtics (minus Tatum or Horford)
Philly (minus Embiid or Simmons)
Probably Indy/Miami
Washington (minus Wall)

And besides the Pel's, the top 9 teams in the west minus their best player (whoever that is). And if Cousins didnt go down, I'd take the Pel's too.

Youre seriously sitting here saying that the team with a 2nd leading scorer in the ECF being the 37 year old Kyle Korver as a top 3 talented team. Thats insane

I suppose it's hard to imagine as a celtics fan, but us Cleveland fans are happy beyond belief with the changes. What seems obvious to one seem hard for another - Ty Lue.

I don't blame you. The return of playoff-caliber TT and his all-too-familiar neutering of Al Horford has turned the tide of this series.

TT don't wanna go home cause the Kardashian women are waiting for him with surgical scissors and salt peter. Guy is as motivated as they come to extend this season.

As bad as T-Top played when he played in the regular season in comparison to his impact on this series is a 180 turnaround
Most of us in CLE were content with him being benched ,traded, bought out etc but it has become quite clear the main issues with him were the injury and Lue wanting Love at the 5. For all of the sideshow Kardashian bs he brought into the picture, the guy still has a fire for the game and earned every penny , wouldn't trade him now

when Korver scores over 10 this postseason the Cavs are 7-1. Boston can withstand 40 from Lebron but if they can't contain Korver, it's not looking good.
