I don't think we're talking enough about getting Dragic back. He had a big hand in Kokoskov's FIBA EuroBasket championship team.

Suns receive: Goran Dragic
Heat receive: Brandon Knight + #16

I wouldn't do it if the Heat wanted their 2021 first as well, but I'd throw in a second this year or next.

No way they (Heat) do that deal, even with a 2nd. Knight has just as many years as Dragic left on his contract...1 more year if Dragic doesn't pick up his player option (though I'm sure he probably will).

Now if they really just wanted to shed salary and maybe get a couple lotto picks before 19, they might do it for someone like Big Sauce, who they could just waive, so they'd get cap relief, as long as they got a couple picks (16 and 31 at minimum I'm sure) but I still would be a little surprised if they trade him.

Dudley, Daniels Sauce, Ulis and Chriss plus picks - for Olynyk/Dragic/Jones Jr - would save the Heat a bunch of money. Of course picks to Heat. But if the deal is made by 7/1 - the Suns can take on 5m with their extra cap space. Plus Ulis and Sauce are not guaranteed so that's like 12m of salaries the Heat shed

I doubt the Heat do the deal but with the above trade - if ESPN trade machine is right --- - that would probably be a deal the Heat would work with as its instant cap space.

Only way i see Miami trading Dragic is if Whiteside is attached. No way they let their best player asset leave for a shoddy return without that Whiteside contract attached to it.

I would agree with you but Whiteside and the Tyler Johnson contract are pretty horrible.

With many teams over the cap because of two years ago - - when the cap increased so much, the Suns having expiring contracts this year may not get the traction of other years. Atlanta has cap space but they also have three picks - so not really sure they need more picks. Indiana has cap space - but they probably need veterans not picks. I have already thought of Charlotte for the summer of 2019 but as BWG pointed out, they are not a "destination"

Well, they already won a championship together when assistants....14 years ago. Not a real exciting hire, but a lot of experience.

I was never a fan of his as a head coach but it doesn't hurt to have experienced assistants so I'm fine with the hire.

Not exciting but am hoping his other hires are younger guys that will bring an energy to his staff. But solid NBA experience and having worked with Igor - there is that comfort factor for Igor.

Actually had a friend do that to himself in high school. One of his eyebrows curled a bit so he tried to shave of that bit but took half the eyebrow ended up doing it to the other one so theyd grow back evenly

This is a great idea, hadn't occurred to me he could be available. He'd be a great economical choice to run the offense. His stats last year were a bit underwhelming, but I don't think Doc knew how to use him and his usage rate was even lower than Austin Rivers who shouldn't even be on the bench of most teams where his daddy isn't coach/GM.
