Thank you for the gift, picks 3 thru 6.

Bulls select JJJ with the quickness.

You know, I never really considered that the draft could play out this way, but I would be stoked if it did. Seeing these picks makes it feel possible.

Don't even need a ranking. Just run to the podium and pick JJJ.

Memphis board had all of 3 votes; MPJ won 2 to 1 over JJJ.

I think ATL for sure takes JJJ or Bamba

I could see Porter going to Memphis, but I would think Bagley is the guy there

Dallas takes JJJ or Bamba, which ever falls

I HIGHLY doubt ORL passes on JJJ or Bamba for Young. But, I could easily see them passing on Porter for Young

I'm more sold on the MPJ hype than what JJJ did his freshman season...which wasn't all that great (3bpg was nice though). He's definitely the most questionable top 4 pick out of the bunch.

i think there are a few ways where it could play out like that. you could have a couple of different permutations of luka/bamba/bagley going top 4 and then mpj to dallas, if they want a center in free agency

Bull have lot riding on Orlando taking Young. If they don't we can either take Young who doesn't seem to be what we really want, but might be the best player available. Or we can take a lower ceiling but less riskier guy like Carter.

I really wonder what the Bulls think of Young. Signs point to us not being interested at all, but I wonder if that is really true. Will they bring him in for a private workout? I think they have to or they are not doing their jobs properly.

They SHOULD do their due diligence, but as you will recall this front office gave away Jordan Bell for cash considerations because, in part, they didn't scout him given their "relatively small" scouting staff. https://www.blogabull.com/2017/10/19/16503854/bulls-cant-decide-if-they-want-to-look-cheap-or-lazy-in-explaining-sale-of-2nd-rounder.

After a lot of hemming and hawing and some deep soul searching deliberating the pros and cons of JJJ and Landry Shamet, I've decided to give the nod to JJJ.

JJJ to Chicago would be too perfect.

Amazing fit next to Lauri.

It is a near-miraculous scenario for 3 teams to choose Bagley, Young and Porter thus leaving JJJ for us. I would be absolutely thrilled!

You owe us for the years of unfair injuries, basketball gods. Please, oh please, let the draft shake out this way.

i doubt jjj drops to us

but i do think whatever happens with luka doncic will shake the top 7 picks up a bit. and i also think bamba is going to go higher and originally expected, might even go before bagley.
