Lebron speaks of Korver...

Ps We got a 2019 1st round pick for him (top 10 protected)...Lebron acts like they got a steal of a deal...I don’t think so Lebron.

"I've loved Kyle ever since we made the trade to get him here," James said, referring to the midseason deal to acquire Korver in 2016-17. "I have no idea how Griff [David Griffin] was able to pull that off still to this day.

What a horrible finish for GS. They reverted to iso-panic ball. Kerr failing to call a TO on that last sequence was especially egregious.

^I'm relieved to actually see that a CF game was competitive down the stretch. both series at 2-2 is encouraging as well.

NOTE: I'm really pulling for a BOS-HOU Finals.

I’m still celebrating. Draymond got Spalding tattooed on that ghetto forehead of his.

I would say his Selltic fanhood puts him down a notch in my book but ... I mean, where do you go when you're already at the bottom? Haha

mEH...I'd BE MORE than okay with Harden and CP3 getting their title.

I'm just not interested in a 4th straight GSW-Cavs Finals.

Or watching Lebron in the Finals for the 8th year in a row...

^That is most definitely what I look like.

(I assume you're referring to the black family in the background, right?)

I was completely unaware of this...

Korver succeeds in season of sorrow

Korver has hung on to that moment and others like it over the past two months as he has struggled with sorrow. At times he has cried himself to sleep in the afternoons before games and woken feeling something he can only describe as his insides trembling. He has relied on prayer to give him the strength to get up and go to work.

Korver's youngest brother, Kirk, died on March 20 after a brief illness that caught the family and the doctors by surprise. It was devastating for the close-knit family and for the town of Pella, where Kyle's father has been the senior pastor of one of the community's largest churches for 25 years.

I had no idea this occurred. My condolences to KK and family.

James looked off yesterday. Sick maybe? Really weird non-effort last night. Then, of course, all the other Cavs played crappy by extension.

yeah, I missed the game last night. But this seems to be the consensus.

The wear and tear plus high workload in a long season seems to have caught up with LBJ.

Maybe he should have taken that mid-season vacation to South Beach this year.

...it'd be nice if he had a partner/second option on his squad to bear some of the offensive burden.

Honestly though, the whole 'tired' narrative is ridiculous. There have been past players who have huge workloads who don't get the 'tired' excuse. As James said (although I don't think he meant it) 'everybody's tired this time o' year'.

True.

I do think the age factor is (finally) coming into play.

Not to mention that he's played in 8 straight NBA Finals. Playing into June year after year for a dude approaching his mid-thirties has to eventually catch up to anyone.

34-35 is definitely when I began to see a slight decline in my...'physical capabilities'. :eyebrows:

And no one has played in more post season games over the past decade than LBJ.

Lebron hasn't been GOAT impressive to me these last 2 years, but he's still a beast. His ability to abuse his opponents one on one plus occassional help from the officials makes him still pretty unstoppable when he's on. But this Cavs team is weak. Korver and Love have limitations on how much they can help and the other guys are just role players. They need another big time scorer in the worst way. That said they still may come back. Boston is better but they aren't that good. Either team stands to get steam rolled in the finals.

Ainge gutted that team from the inside. I hope that #8 draft pick and Larry Nance Jr. was worth it for them.
