Delonte West is a red head comparison and a better one than Matt Bonner.

That's the joke.

Lol yeah I see that now. This was misread the 1st time. Solid work.

Can y'all post this places? Reddit, twitter (tweet at people?), facebook, other forums, etc? Anywhere you guys post this is super helpful.

Also have ones on...

Miles Bridges breakdown - https://thefrontofficeeye.com/2018/05/21/miles-bridges-breakdown/ (no video...yet?)

Mikal Bridges breakdown - https://thefrontofficeeye.com/2018/03/27/1053/

Mo Bamba breakdown - https://thefrontofficeeye.com/2018/04/10/mo-bamba/

This was actually very good, nice work.

Thanks, man! I saw Prez made a post on him saying he'd like him in the Huerter thread over on the draft board, so figured I'd post it here (hope it's alright with the other mods). If you can, spreading the word anywhere would be suuuuuuper helpful.

I do agree with Prez in that he'd be a perfect fit. I'm not sure what your FA plans are with Jabari, but I figure with Giannis, you'd like as much spacing as possible. I can see some really potent lineups with Bledsoe, Huerter, Middleton and either another wing and Giannis at the 5 or Giannis at the 4 and Maker at the 5. Bud would do absolute wonders with Huerter's ability.

Tbh I know little about this draft compared to previous drafts, just didn’t get into it until recently. I guess because I wasn’t super into college ball this year and the uncertainty of our pick situation w/ Phoenix. Huerter was a name thrown around and I did some research and pretty much loved what I was seeing. Your piece on him especially is fantastic.

I'm not seeing the love for Huerter at pick 17. I see that as a reach in this draft. He has good efficiency but not as productive as other guys. Looks to be a borderline first, early 2nd pick. Just my two cents anyway.

If we had (or could buy) late 1st or 2nd round picks I'd love one of Huerter or Divicenzo. Or both.

But I agree you can probably do better with a mid 1st rounder.

I've got to ask again, is Brandon McCoy being slept on? He is being mocked late first or early second.

Donte creepin' up my board.

I want to love Huerter, but I just question his impact. Red flag for me not seeing the measurable athleticism translate in games. Maybe Bud could make it translate, that's the only intriguing thing for me, apart from that jumper being wetter than the perfect storm.

Melton
Jontay
Khyri
Donte

These guys are all awesome. Melton is my favourite by far, would trade back to get him.

The mocks I've seen have him as a very late 2nd. The DX guys have him going 54th and The Ringer has him going 60th. His scouting report from The Ringer doesn't sound very intriguing to me.

Honestly imo the depth in this draft is horrible, I think we will be lucky if a good player falls to us. I don’t get why everyone keeps saying that this is a deep draft. Once guys pull out I think you’ll be lucky to get 20 nba players out of this draft

As of right now I completely disagree. I think this is going to be one of the deepest drafts in a long time, especially at shooting guard. But yah, that may change depending on how many players pull out. Right now I am seeing a ton of players projected to be picked in the second round I wouldn't hesitate to take in the first round such as Metu of USC, the guy from Ukraine who played for Kansas who's name I can't spell. Even Wagner from Michigan.

There are a lot of SGs, kind of a bummer because they aren't real high on the need list, but how many of them can create their own shot and play defense? How many have the potential to be quality starters in the league? If the draft is chock full of guys who's ceiling is a catch and shoot role player and who's floor is player in Europe I wouldn't call it a deep draft necessarily. I didn't even look to see how Wagner measured out, is he more athletic than Henry Ellenson?

I am surprised a 7'1 freshman center who averaged 17 pts, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks (in any D1 conference) on 55% shooting 73% FT while outplaying the #1 pick in the same draft would go barely drafted.

I just see a lot of guys who could be picked at 17 who do not stand out from the rest. Its a crap shoot.

I like him as well but people see him as stiff. I would pick up an early mid 2nd and draft him.

Just looked at their top 17. I'd take any one of those guys except Mitchell Robinson. Swap Robinson with Kevin Huerter and in my opinion we'll get a serviceable player. I'm not totally sold on Melton yet, though.

If we can't trade Delly,Henson cut-buy them out ... let Terry retire... open 3 roster spots

Trade down ... get two 2nds and buy one more ... total : 3 2nds ... Devonte Graham, Kostas Antetokounmpo, Hamidou Diallo

It makes so much sense, that, mark my words, you will think to use that line at some point. At which time you will think to yourself, "huh, that **** idiot was right"
