You trying to be funny?

no?

CP3 is the current WS/48 leader, of all time. Just ahead of Jordan. His impact on a team cannot be understated. I used to think it was because he was great but on bad teams, then he joined a good team and led the NBA in real plus-minus.

Curry also had a much better team in the last 4 years than CP3 ever did, including this year.

What did Curry do before 2015?

Based on stats but hard to get people to agree without the hardware when you’re gonna compare him to LeBron, Kobe, Duncan over the last 10z

He’s probably more like top 5 over the last decade.

Best PG yes but best player? Not even close. I would even put Dirk over him if we're talking about the past decade. CP3 has never came close to doing what Dirk did when he won the championship.

This is silly.

CP3 is a better passer, defender, point guard and organizer than Curry.

No one shoots it like Curry, and Curry is a big-time scorer and probably the best shooter in NBA history.

Both are headed to the Hall of Fame. What is the argument.

Past decade refers to accumulation of impact season on season.

I don't see who you put over CP3 since 2008 other than LeBron.

He's probably gonna be the second best player of the entire 2010's at this rate. People will take Durant but even series like this, Durant isn't impacting games on Chris Paul's level.

Even pre durant Curry accomplished more and it's debatable if currys cast was super good before durant everyone overrates players when a team wins curry had the best offensive season in the nba are we just gonna act like cp3 hasn't had a decent cast? He is great but not as great as curry

Life is much easier when you're on a team that can win multiple playoff series without you.

Pre durant that's debatable

Not really.

In 2016 they basically beat the Rockets without Curry and were up 2-1 in the second round before he came back. They could've possibly gone to the WCF without Curry.

This year he only played in two second round games and the Warriors still got to the WCF easily.

Klay Thompson alone is arguably better than anyone Paul played with.

Phenomenal shooter but probably the most over rated player of all time.

This 100%. I remember ppl would pick the Rockets over the Warriors if Curry and cp3 was to switch role not knowing their defense would suffer while the Warriors defense would be at an all time elite level. Ppl dont realize there's more to basketball then scoring. Iggy, klay, Green and now Kd are very good at hiding Curry flaw on defense.

w/e you say, a out of prime cp3 is outplaying Curry in this series, what would a prime Cp3 do to Curry, no chance. Your joined date is 2017 it's obvious you didn't watch basketball until recently.

Right, a poster's join date is directly correlated to his basketball knowledge or age.

Great logic. I guess we can assume all 2018 posters were born in 2000.

It sure as hell show most of them are bandwagon and just started watching basketball and have never seen a pre injury Cp3 before. You think it's coincident that most of the Curry fans/Warriors fans has a joined date of 2016 and above?

Omg some of the posts in this thread. I can’t even...

Nobody, and I mean nobody, on this board had CP3 even close to a top 5 player at the end of the RS. Harden basically carried that team all year leading the MVP race while CP3 was along for the ride having multiple stinker games.

He has one good 4th quarter in game 5 (not a game 7 - nothing was “on the line”) of the Utah series, and doesn’t disappear last night, and now he’s suddenly better than Curry and Durant?!?! - two consistent top 3 players for the past 5 years, biggest superstars in the league, 3 MVPs between them, etc.?? You people are smoking some good stuff.

Dude is 33 years old and hasn’t accomplished anything till this season after teaming up w/ Harden on an already really good team. When he was the head honcho on “his teams” he couldn’t do squat. He’s in his 13th year in the league - 13th.

Can this board please stop wildly overreacting after every single game. The Warriors didn’t lose last night because of CP3...they lost cause KD and Steph shot like crap (for them) and Kerr screwed up by not calling a timeout. CP3 had 27/2/4...yeah, 4 assists - ooooh. He was iso ballhogging the whole time and so was Harden - Warriors were just worse.

Eh I mean the two guys are closer than most people like or are comfortable to admit... CP3 is really really good and he rarely underperform, he is a fierce competitor.

So transforming mediocre team to contenders is accomplishing nothing? It is better than 95% of NBA players in history probably.

Houston was not a mediocre team last season, and if he was the reason for their transformation, why is Harden the MVP and not him?

He hasn’t even been that great in these playoffs...

being up 2-1 doesn't guarantee a series also warriors had home court easier for a cast to step up at home and we are just going to act like blame didn't play like an mvp caliber player when cp3 was down most of 2014? But cp3 hasn't played with someone as good as klay just stop it with the hate my God curry never gets credit

One thing that gets no attention is that Chris Paul is visibly and actually more hurt than Curry is, yet Curry is the one that gets all the excuses made for him saying that he's hurt. When Paul has a bad game it's because he's a choker even though he is more banged up and playing through more pain than Curry all series.

They won 73 games... wth...

I'll settle the debate... support crew of Thompson (All-Star), Igoudala (All-Star), Green (All-star), Livingston, Barnes (All NBA Rookie first team), Lee (All-star), Speights and Bogut (All-NBA third team) is really good.
