I like Jontay but he had a bad combine coming in out of shape and I think he will ultimately pull out and go back to school one more year and try to really rise up what is looking like a weak 2019 draft.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

He’s a bit of a throwback to the heyday of NYC guards. Tough, powerful guard who isn't afraid to try to dunk over three defenders. In that sense, he's similar to a Stephenson.
Going hard with a new lease on life!

Really liking what I am seeing from Jevon Carter. 3 and D point guard who passes the ball well.

18 ppg.
39% from 3
7 apg
3 steal per game (an important predictor stat)

He dominated play at the combine.

#31. Yeah, I would do that.

Thoughts on Donte Divincenzo?
Sounds like he's moving up draft boards. Not seeing too many weaknesses in the breakdown below.

I love the guy! His all-around game could be as good as Doncic, and he is certainly more athletic. I would consider him with our #16 pick. I read that he has a 1st round promise and is staying in the 2018 draft, hopefully it is the Suns.

I thought that this was a good read... Donte may not last until #16.

Love these quotes:

"He was perhaps most impressive at the combine against other NBA hopefuls, where he was burying NBA-range three-pointers with ease, defending well, and making pinpoint passes that highlighted his court vision and playmaking ability. Most notably, however, DiVincenzo played with a hustle and grit that could make him an ideal fit on championship-level teams late in the first round.

"When I go out there, I try to have a chip on my shoulder," he said. "I try to be the hardest worker, try to be the toughest guy, most physical guy. No. 1 because they're not expecting it. No. 2 because that's how I pride myself to be." "

What? He was second in the vertical? There has to be a mistake.

Seems to me to be a Dan Majerle type of player.

The Ringer said he's probably coming back to NCAA.
Every Villanova prospect is intriguing.

Crap, I didn't realize he was the guy who got a promise. That'd be exciting.

I am officially a Jevan Carter fan. He is my sleeper pick. He will be the Dinwiddie of this draft.

If a team in the late lottery or mid-1st is giving him a promise, it'd be hard to see him go back unless he believe he can improve his stock to top 5 next year (in a supposedly weaker draft).
I hope we go after him for sure though.

I like him but he's small and will only be able to guard point guards. Only 6 ft (6 ft 1.5 with shoe) with a 6'4 wingspan.

Like PJ Tucker can only guard small forwards? He can guard 2's. He has athleticism, tenacity, and he is incredibly strong.

Still all in on Melton. This class has a lot of guards who would fit really well next to Booker and we need to make sure we get one of them: Melton, Milton, Carter, Shamet, Thomas...

The fact that Liangelo is even wearing a pre draft workout uniform pisses me off. This is like Rebecca Black all over again.
