If Luka is the better player based on projections and not Gambo or Twitter polls or they lost the true center in Alcindor - but for today’s nba take Luka.

I am still okay with Ayton. Big guys are hard to guard if he had the mentality to win

Last night was almost like hand to hand combat and that is really what is happening in the new NBA. This is the main reason that Dramond Green is so great. Whether you like him or not he does not give and inch. Neither does TJ Tucker or Chris Paul.

Reportedly that is what Doncic brings in spades. It also seems as though Ayton is a beast but does not act like it. If the decision is close and I think it is. I will go with the best competitor everytime.

I hated so much trading Tucker. He can play and he wanted to be on the Suns.

McD traded him for a couple of seconds...nothing. Another bad move IMO.

We could have signed him to a new contract...we are now looking for a player exactly like him on the market. ****.

I think PJ does more things that contribute to winning than TJ Warren, despite being an undersized heavy footed small ball forward who is money from the corner and can guard both wing positions and PGs

Equally hard. There are only one of each. My biggest worry about either is the potential lack of good interior defense from a C. Will he ever be a plus defender? Maybe? You would think with the size and athleticism. Only a couple of people are doubting his ability to dominate on offense and on the boards.

I also think there are more guys with height and talent in the league than Durant, Giannis and AD.

Name them. I can’t counter your point of view with out names. They should pop out if they are common players. I can name tons of wings George Harden Durant Thompson Hayward Tatum Booker Kahwi Porter Kuzman Iggy Melo Butler DeRozan Wiggins Beal Wade Oladipo...

Name the top centers in the league.

Boogie, Embiid, KAT, Gobert,Jokic, Drummond, MGasol, Nurkic, Whiteside

Boogie non athletic bully.
Embiid much love
KAT soft D much love
Gobert no offense handicapped the team
Drummond can’t move or shoot
Gasol Immoble solid
Kurkic on Embiid and KAT level
Whiteside turd!

Good grief. McD traded Tucker because we were rebuilding and he is a win now player. They traded him out of respect to him and traded him to a playoff team. That was not about winning a trade. That was about doing right by a player who had given himself to our team.

He is soooo good on defense. Help defense and one on one.

His impact is huge as a PF. I always liked the idea of playing him at that position night in and night out.

If Ayton had realistic possibilities to become new Shaq or Robinson, we wouldn’t have this thread and Suns would be already selling his shirts.

Not a one in this league. The last one was Shaq, and he wasn’t skilled. Just explosive and powerful.

Shaq wasn’t skilled? Come on now...

And you can’t just name a bunch of random wings to try to prove that Doncic doesn’t have a unique skillset. You listed a bunch of guys that aren’t primary initiators, are much smaller than him, are on their way out of the league, or can’t shoot. He’s closer to Simmons, Giannis, Lebron, George, Harden than Beal, Tatum, Kuzma, and Derozan.

Well, I just got “Peek Into The War Room” invite for May 31 in the mail. An evening with VP James Jones to hear firsthand strategy for the 2018 NBA Draft. At Talking Stick.

I will be sure to let them know I won’t even consider 1/2 season tix package unless Ayton is the pick!

Yea. Shaq wasn’t what Duncan was for frame of reference. Shaq couldn’t shoot a effing freethrow or 10 footer. Those are skills. Shaq was an amazing athlete that used his god given size and strength to over power players. Shaq never practiced anything! Skill is learned as was discussed earlier with myself and the Euro.

Athleticism is skill as well, but not learned. I’m talking learned skills. I hope you understand where I’m coming from. Dump it in to Shaq and he dunks it.

Edit: my question and point was who is harder to find. i think I did a fairly decent job showing there are more polished wings than C’s. I guess Doncic is one of a kind now. Ok

I got you. I’m borderline about to purchase 1/2 season tix. Told my rep forget about it if they don’t draft Ayton.

They are a little pricey for basketball and especially the Suns. But I can resale the Laker and GS and some other pricey tix to save some cash. I told him, I don’t give a crap about watching anyone but the Suns. Lol! Don’t want to see a bunch of Laker fans anyways. I get so upset when our stadium gets overrun with those clowns.

Guess Ben Simmons isn’t skilled then. It seems like the only Shaq you've seen is Phoenix Shaq.

You can’t run your offense through Otto **** Porter man. Yes, Doncic is a unique player. But if you see him as Kuzma or Otto Porter and Ayton is better than Shaq and Boogie then its no surprise to see you leading the Ayton parade. I’ll save myself the effort.

I never appreciated PJ as much as I should have. He is right where he belongs. In the middle of a street fight. It is only going to get worse if the Rockets happen to upset the Warriors.

The Raptors should have kept him at all costs.
