With that said I have a random factoid to share with all of you. I was in Milwaukee for Game 4. Celts obviously lost but played a solid game. Bucks, like every organization had t-shirts on the seats...so I left with a couple "Fear the Dear" shirts. I don't know why but something told me to keep the shirts. So I kept them. Once the Celts won the series I figured, "good shirt to paint in, or do yard work."
So I have. But there is a method. The Celtics are 4-0 If I rock the Fear the Fear shirt during the day and/or if I do yard work. Of course I would never where that shirt during a game, so I dont. But 4-0 including today. Today I wore it on purpose to see if it would work.

Damn, I was at game 4 too with a buddy. If I had seen the post you probably made we could have met up. I gave my buddy the T-shirt and told him his gf could wear it as a nightshirt or something. I refused to take a Fear the Deer shirt home with me. But am glad it's working out in our favor.

Great win.

VC goes to Tatum. He didn’t everything. Scoring, rebounding, passing, defense.

Horford, Smart, and Morris had good games. Baynes was solid.

Rozier and Brown combined to shoot 7-30 from the field. They both need to play a lot better for us to have a chance at winning game 6.

I skipped attending the game tonight, instead I watched it from home and sold my ticket.

Tatum is legit. I mentioned to a friend after the last game, that this national stage is a great opportunity for JT to show out. The missed layups (especially the dunk) in game 4 reminded us he is still a rookie. After game 5 he’s back to knocking on the door of NBA superstar status.

Tatum without a doubt

Baynes also played a key role, completely neutralized Thompson, we were not bullied tonight

maybe our offense is not as smooth with Baynes starting, but we got here on our defense, we won tonight with our defense, and we will advance with our defense

Again, if the media wasn’t slanted and agenda driven, Mitchell and Tatum would be co RoY, with Simmons a far third. If this was Simmons, it would be all over the sports media world.

Its not, and that sucks. The media (most not all) should be ashamed of themselves.

I sent out 3 or 4 posts saying I was going/there. Heard nothing back from anyone, but it's tough on here to filter through messages. All good

That was one hell of a defensive performance by Tatum. Im not even talking about it being a good showing for a rookie, that was an elite defensive performance for any wing period. On the ball he hounded his guy all night and made sure every shot he gave up was a tough contended shot. Off the ball the dude was everywhere, he was getting in passing lanes and prevented his man from being able to get the ball numerous times. He had a good offensive game, missed a ton of easy shots, but defensively that was something else.

++++

PS I went to med school at Duke a long time ago. I went to Cameron many times, but did not stay very attached to the team after I left. I only had room for the Celtics. :0)

—-feeling a tiny bit of Kyrie’s pain not being able to watch these last few games. First time I’ve completely missed any Celtics playoff games in - well, let’s just say a long, long time. Crazy that I’ll be home for game 7, and yet hoping like mad that there isn’t one! Game 1 of the finals will suit me just fine.✌️

I'd rather he stay in Cleveland to be honest. They suck.

If he leaves, he's more than likely forming another superteam.

Maybe he goes West. Joins Houston, but there's still a decent chance we'd have to face him in the finals if that happens. Best case scenario here is the possibility of going to an LA team (eww) since they're pretty much bottom feeders right now.

Maybe he stays here and joins the 76ers. No thanks...

Amazing stat, but, let's get real here - not the same :) Kareem averaged over 35 per game. He reached that total in only 10 games.
