When Nance pushed Morris, Terry flew and pushed away Nance. It seems like they got each other's backs at all times. Also it seems like they are really happy for each other's success. It's very rare.

I don't think the positive parts of teammates supporting each other is very unusual.

What separates good team spirits from bad ones is more the level of negativity that's also present (the less the better, although it's never as low as zero).

With that said I have a random factoid to share with all of you. I was in Milwaukee for Game 4. Celts obviously lost but played a solid game. Bucks, like every organization had t-shirts on the seats...so I left with a couple "Fear the Dear" shirts. I don't know why but something told me to keep the shirts. So I kept them. Once the Celts won the series I figured, "good shirt to paint in, or do yard work."
So I have. But there is a method. The Celtics are 4-0 If I rock the Fear the Fear shirt during the day and/or if I do yard work. Of course I would never where that shirt during a game, so I dont. But 4-0 including today. Today I wore it on purpose to see if it would work.

This is crazy. My ex-girlfriend attended a Twolves game back in 2002, when they went against the Lakers. They gave out free Timberwolves shirts, and my ex was by the tunnel. For some odd reason, she thought I'd want an autograph from members of the Lakers (see, this is why she's my ex). No one signed the shirt except for one, Mr. Tyronn Lue. Well, somehow, this autographed t-shirt stayed with me for some odd reason. A few weeks ago, I was cleaning out my storage room and I found this shirt. I couldn't give a damn about Tyronn Lue, so I threw it in the pile of old t-shirts which I eventually turn into rags. Fast forward to last night, and during the game, I notice my fiancee cleaning the kitchen counter with the Tyronn Lue-autographed t-shirt.

I tell her, just as they pan to Lue on the TV, "Hey babe, you know that guy coaching the Cavs? That's his autograph on that shirt you're using!". She starts apologizing profusely, saying she didn't know it was an autographed shirt, saying she got it from the pile of rags. I just laugh and tell her not to worry about it, and told her I put it there.

I'm taking a page out of your book and having her clean the kitchen on Friday night with that same shirt. 1-0!!!

IDC that he was not popular to some of our fans, but the dude loved being a Celtic and enjoyed his time in Boston. I hope KO showing support for the Cs pissed Riley off even if just a little bit.

P.S. Love me some Leon Powe of course.

I was fortunate enough to attend the game last night. They showed Kelly on the jumbotron and he got a big ovation.

They gave away shirts at one of the Sixers games I went to. I gave mine to my cab driver when he asked if I was going to keep it.

Yeah. Reached his ceiling already. Oh well. He’s pretty good.

I’d like to have a signed Yabusele shirt. Has to be pretty unique piece of memorabilia

This is the first time I really saw tatum taking shots with someone in his face. if/when he gets confident with these, he's going to be a freaking nightmare for opponents.

You just know he would have loved to stick the dagger into the Cavs and Lebron himself. He’s got his young lieutenants doing it for him though.

1.Baynes started. Tick
2. Reswitch on rozier mismatches. Tick
3. More aggressive D. Doubling and trapping and anticipating outlet pass.Tick!
More of the same next game please!
Surprised JR playing more minutes than Korver. None in 1st quarter?
We almost butchered it playing too quickly when our lead was dwindling in the 4th.

Didn't get to pay as close attention as normal, but thought Tatum was carrying us offensively for portions of the game. Guess I wasn't alone in that. I do remember at one point b**tching about our D after a blown coverage, then looking up and realizing CLE had only 60-something points in the 4th quarter. :)

Can't wait for tomorrow night! Sneakily, Lue basically rested Korver last night. Only 19 min. Bet he plays a lot more in game 6 at home.

Of course, the cigar must go to Tatum. To say that he already is a special player is just stating the obvious, but they don't call me Captain Obvious for nothing! :) Just terrific defense from the Celtics. The Cavs players looked awful. Like someone had spiked their Gatorade with "Disinterest" pills. Then there is Coach Lue... During the pregame and half time, the panel raised some questions about the coaching. The usual stuff about Brad, but also mention of what a good coach Tyrone Lue was. Lue! Lue, the coach who had Kyle Korver sitting on his ass because Brad sat out Ojeleye, which threw poor Lue through a loop. Such a loop it was! The Cavs needed scoring, but wait... Ojeleye is not in the game. Sit down Kyle.

Been dating someone a bit for a month off and on. He's nice. He likes the Celtics too but he is more obsessed with the Patriots, which is fine since I can talk NFL like a mad person and I love Brady.

On a side note, I can't get a read if this will go to a game 7 or not. I think if this goes to 7 I have to watch this with my father, this means a lot to him.

Crazy stuff. Not sure I buy the Lebron is tired thing. He was supposed to be tired in the Pacers series too but then they rolled Toronto. He is 33, so maybe he is tired but I just don't think his team is good enough.

Crazy stuff overall, I think I still have to mentally absorb all of this.

I literally got no idea on a game 6 right now on the road with Lebron potentially playing his last game as a Cavalier. :o :o :o

The answer is obvious for last night's VC.

But I voted for Baynes anyway because he was a monster. He played his ass off last night.

Return to Boston Celtics
