i vividly remember him calling out his teammates after game 1

He kept the rockets in the game in game 4.

Harden's had 1/5 games this series where shot at least 44% and that was game 1. I don't know whats gotten into him since.

Intense defense, him not be able to take plays off defensively, playing ISOs against a great defense constantly, heavy minutes etc. Just doesn't have lotta legs left, especially in the 2nd halfs, its understandable

Iggy is the reason why your 4 allstars can't beat 2 (even tho CP wasn't an allstar this year, n wasn't selected on any of the nba teams).

Are two of these all stars the same guys RealGM calls overrated system players quite frequently?

Warriors are clearly more talented than the Rockets on paper. That’s a given but if they’re resorting to iso hero ball or missing a key cog in their death lineup, the talent is not always going to guarantee wins.

Right, but it should in a best of 7 series. Iggy's impact is certainly significant but so is Luc Mbah A Moute's. Both teams are banged up and its still anyones series.

Cp3 says he's okay and will definitely play in Game 6, per Marc Spears.

Rockets winning it all confirmed.

Warriors really arent that talented. Eric Gordon and Capela are not that far off from klay and draymond. People forget that gordon was a rising star pre injury.

How much of the +5 was due to variation in blowout minutes in Games 2 and 3? Not to mention raw +/- numbers aren’t anything without context.

Also, apples and oranges. Iggy isn’t played for just his defense. That doesn’t matter though right?

cmon Warriors fans take the loss and move on to Game 6. Your team has 4 (FOUR!) all-stars.The execution in the end of the last two games exposed that they become rattled and do not have a clear cut alpha to seize the moment. No excuses to be made, the warriors competed until the end but came up short. Now on to the next be it with or without igoudala.

Complaining about losing coz u dont have one role player when you have that much talent leaves a bad taste in the mouth especially how you got durant after losing a 3-1 lead in the finals.

Durant > Harden
Curry > Paul
Klay > Gordon
Green > Capela

Even if you ranked the top 5 players from both teams the warriors still have 3/5
1. Durant
2. Curry
3. Harden
4. Green
5.Paul

The Rockets are ust playing with more focus and determination.

Good game a Rockets fans. Two gutsy wins in close games relying on defense and clutch buckets even without their stars playing great. They are a gritty team. I love led my Warriors to win this series because I thought at least the warriors role players getting significant minutes that would be forced to make plays (Green and Iguodala) were more dynamic if their shot wasn’t falling than Tucker and Ariza/ Moute. I thought if Capella could dictate matchups, Gordon could beast and Moute could stay on the floor then he’d have a rest shot. Moute has been unplayable, Capella although pretty good hasn’t really had as much of an impact as I thought and Gordon has been alright overall but hit some big shots in two close wins which helps them a lot.

They are forcing the warriors out of their comfort zone and dictating the game flow very well. They also seem more prepared for this matchup than the warriors as many of our Centers and the wings we have are unplayable in this matchup or disappointed. I’m surprised Kerr hasn’t played JaVale at all because even though he’d get cooled off of switches, we’ve done a solid job on D with Other big men struggling and he’s at least a rom threat that can open up pockets of space for guys to pull up or get easy baskets for alley oops.

Either way we’ve come up short in two games and have a great collection of talent so it will be a very disappointing thug if we lose especially having some chokes and mental lapses but credit to Houston. That team is awesome and actually reminds me a bit of the 2015 warriors with just a roster and style where the players fill roles, compliment each other well on big sides of the ball which raises everything on both sides of the ball even a step above a great level of talent.

Don’t think the series is over and still like the Warriors chances. But since from here on out it’s either gonna be continual people wanting to say the warriors fail more than anything or dump on CP3 and Harden if they lose. Just want to acknowledge that this team is really awesome since that narrative is not getting nearly enough light.

Ok, well, the bottom line is that the Warriors had plenty of chances to win games 4 and 5 without Iggy. 2 big leads in game 4 but poor focus late. 3 bad possessions in clutch time is why they lost game 5.
Cp3 going down made it 4 on 5 and Warriors brick an open 3, Curry jacks a wild heavily contested layup, and than Green bumbles the ball. The Warriors just folded. That's why they lost game 5. Harden played very poorly as well.

Palpation can tell you in seconds if it's severe enough to miss the last two games. If its a tear you can feel the thickening of the tissue immediately.

Hey, I'd trust a doctor's initial assessment over my own conjecture, but has that ever ruled out a player minutes after a game? I don't know if I've seen that before. Feel free to provide an example because I honestly can't say

Obviously the doctor would need to do an MRI, and X-Ray to see if there are avulsion fractures or tears before they make an official diagnosis, but the intensity of the pain alone and the exact location of the injury can give you a rough idea of the severity. I highly doubt they'll make any statment to the public untill all the tests are done, but if its severe, they would know and inform the athlete that its not looking good.

Props to Rockets defense.
They kept the game in low scoring. Thats the key in defeating this super team.

Harden really played poor but CP3 showed true leadership and pure heart.
I hope he's okay for Game 6 since they only have 1 day rest

It's freaking ridiculous. They have 2 top 30 all-time greats in their prime.
