from a marketing perspective that was a great move but boy i liked gsw much better with barnes

This wasn't the sentiment when he was bricking open shots in the finals or when GS ran through the league last season.

All year long it's been talked about how the Rockets were built to beat the Warriors and now it's on display, especially defensively. The Rockets' switching defense has effectively hamstrung the Warriors' motion offense, forcing them into an iso style that doesn't play to their strengths, with KD being the main iso player (and his iso style doesn't readily lead to assists like the Rockets' guards do).

Patrick McCaw could have really helped out a lot with Iggy injured. F'kin Vince Carter!!!

I owe an apology to the Rockets because I obviously didn't respect just how good they can be. It's their defense that has really shocked me. I think it's because I didn't get to see them often enough and just boxscore watching their games it looks like a Gloebtrotter game with all offense and no defense and I feel like James Harden was on a ladder at various points.

It's incredibly impressive how they've bounced back this series after taking it on the chin to start it off. I'm rooting for them for selfish reasons, but regardless of how this ends up the Rockets certainly have my respect now.

Make no mistake, if the Warriors lose this series, it doesn't mean they didn't ruin the competition. It means they choked in a catastrophic manner. They clearly are the better team and simply aren't playing up to their level.

Go Rockets.

Putting CP3's health aside, Rockets have to feel good after a game in which Harden went 0-11 from three and CP3 0-7 in the first half...and they still won.

Warriors team is not inexperienced, my assumption is the rockets switching defense has forced them to alter their play style.

Paul is scoring some points with me with his Warriors mocking. First the fake laugh for Kerr in the Regular Season, now the Shimmy vs Curry. Good job.

Im not even watching this game because GS will obviously win game 6 (there's a zero percent chance they lose this game) just need CP healthy and guys have to put it all on the line in game 7.

It would be so much easier choosing who to root for if Durant was on the Rockets and PJ Tucker on the Warriors.

They aren’t because of Houston’s defense.

Houston was underrated coming in to this series.

GSW is now backed against the wall and may have completely lucked out due to CP3.

Clearly? Not so clear from where I'm sitting. Who was the runaway #1 seed and who has a 3-2 lead?

I have no problem if someone thinks the Warriors are better... But it's certainly not clear

Houston is giving the blueprint on how to defend the KD Warriors. The league better take notice this summer.

So much for everyone on the Rockets needing to play a perfect game. So glad they exposed that BS narrative

The blueprint isn't complicated... Acquiring the assets necessary is the difficult part.

Ariza's and Tucker's don't grow on trees... But they are about to get some other 3 and D guys overpaid this Summer, guaranteed.

If they have Iggy they win game 5, remember this guy was the finals MVP and GS plays a lot better when he's on the floor.
