The bad faith on this forum is laughable.
It's bad faith to ask legitimate and informed questions? I don't know how anyone could simply gloss over CP3's injury as if it had no significant impact.
It is bad faith to have an excuse ready for a game that hasn't been played yet.
I disagree with your overly-broad definition of "excuse," but have at it.

Sure. But Gordon is still playing. That was as unlikely as CP3 being out. And HOU has home court, possibly because Curry was out for 30 games. I get that CP out is a pretty big deal. But it's not the only big deal affecting this season. A lot of things are affecting this season, just like every season.

Pathetic east defenders? Who had the best defensive rating this season? You can make the arguement that the east is weak all you want but it isn't supported by facts. Just because the West had the two best teams in the league doesn't make the whole conferance great, Im not even sure Houston without CPS is the second best team in the league, the team turns into Harden ISO every time down without Paul in the lineup.
Not supported by facts lol. Make a list of the top 10 players or 15 players... how many are in the East? The East is a garbage talentless conference. Absolutely pathetic.
Giannis
Embiid
Kyrie
Lebron the best in the world
John wall
Simmons
Hayward
Beal
The west talent is all on the warriors and rockets
Even more reason to not take the east seriously outside of Boston and Cavs. 76ers will be good as well the Bucks imo. Just not now. Raptors backcourt with either team would be good challengers.
Professional sports is idolatry.

When did we start moving playoffs to 5 games to 7 games?
It's the first round that used to be 5 games, I don't remember when any other round was not 7 games

Yup, even before the onslaught, the unforced turnovers and the missed FT's did them in. Teams play different when they are up vs down. If they could have maintained a lead against GS, it changes the flow of the game, but they just had way too many errors. They could have given themselves a better cushion, and while the final outcome says GS would have overcome a decent cushion, that's not how it works in the actual flow of games. After GS got the lead they started to play more freely while Houston started to play with more panic, and that was what exploded the lead.
They literally turned the ball over in 4 or 5 of their first possessions in the 2nd half. The Warriors went from down 10 to up 2 in like 2 minutes.
It all went downhill from there.

I have you on ignore for a reason but you still quote me. You’re never impartial when discussing the Warriors. Sure, the Warriors should not have been down in the first place but Rockets shots light out. When Rockets settled back down to reality, Warriors had their own run and game over. I was expecting a blowout with CP3 out and that’s what we got.bmurph128 wrote:BayArea408415 wrote:bmurph128 wrote:Is this supposed to be sarcasm? Because this game has four all stars versus one. The Warriors losing this game would have been the worst loss in NBA history - coming back in a game they never should have been losing isn't that big of an accomplishment here. Enjoy the win and let's all hope that CP3 can play on Monday.

My point is that Warriors were losing. Klay got hot and then Curry followed. Then, both went off. Front runner implies they only play well when the team is already up big. Durant was crap this game. Klay and Curry turned it from a double digit deficit to a 30 point blow out.
Front runner is an exaggeration people make. But they've both shown they don't play consistent enough in the playoffs.
And obviously one of them would be guarding Paul, who has probably been Houston's best player in this series and possibly the best player in the series period thus far...so given the circumstances it seems a little odd to use this game as the reason why they aren't "front runners".

I still believe this series was over in 6 if Iguodala didn’t miss 3 games and CP3 was healthy. However, disingenuous Warriors haters act like Mbah Mbah Moute and Iguodala are on comparable levels or imply Warriors fans are comparing Iguodala’s absence to CP3’s absence. Iguodala is 5x the player Mbah Mbah Moute is and ever will be. One player is a Final’s MVP, highest IQ on the Warriors and has the ability to have DPOY level impact. Mbah Mbah Moute is a solid 3 and D guy player who can switch well. He can’t make CP3 or Harden go 1/41 in one on one situations like Iguodala supposedly has. Not to mention he can’t guard guys like LeBron like Iguodala or Kawhi can.
The amount of disrespect shown toward Iguodala on this forum is insane. He was the MVP in Game 5 of last year’s Finals. That series goes at least 6 without Iguodala. Possibly even 7. People underestimate how good the Irving and LeBron combo was since the Warriors dispatched them in 5. Last year’s Warriors team was better. Finally, without Iguodala, Warriors’ remaining depth is shot. Looney, Young and Cook are getting key minutes they should not even be sniffing. The Warriors’ system isn’t designed to give the starters 44+ minutes.

Rocket would easily switch with the Warriors, having cp3 missed out on regular and being able to play the whole playoff. You wont be singing the same tune if Klay and Curry was both out for game 7.
cp3 being the best player for this whole series for both team, yet its not a big deal.

It was obvious that Warriors had better ball movement from the 1st possession of this game. They abandoned post up and iso KD and the ball was moving well, they just couldn't hit anything.
As soon as they started hitting those open 3s, the game was over.

Lol at the trolls whining about KD getting carried. In case some trolls didn't know, that's what teammates do. They step up when one of their teammates are having an off night. You trolls will find anything to cry about when it comes to KD.

Going into tonight, 3 of the top 4 conf finals games this season (in viewership) were HOU/GSW.

Any idea that GSW/HOU isn't getting watched are wrong. It's performing strongly with tv audiences.

Will GS continue to move the ball in game 7? Or will iso KD return?

Nothing I said to you was me not being impartial about the Warriors. Believe it or not, I was actually quoting you to have a more civilized discussion. Nobody is going to agree with your assessment on Iguodala either, but I'll back off on that and let others have the less civilized version of that conversation with you.

I can tell you don't watch the games or you have selective vision.
It isn't salt, it's criticism. He fell down a lot more the first 5 games. Perhaps you have a selective memory.
