Taking on Wiggins is a massive calculated risk that is only broached due to being snubbed AGAIN in FA. He sure as **** aint a Plan A through F, he's more of a Plan O type of desperation move.

I mean, maybe he'll build up some buzz after we feed him the ball a bunch and try to manufacture a "star" to attract others with. If Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, etc dont develop more, we're up **** creek anyway.

Man, with Love out and if CLE beats BOS, it really does show that all that matters is having LBJ and u can make the Finals in the East, as Love has been mostly a no show anyway. Add a Kyrie-esque player to LBJ and he can steal a chip from an all time team.

LBJ + some backup is still a contender and i'm starting to warm up more and more in trying to land both him and PG13.

Sometimes in Basketball you have to go behind the scenes of what sportscasters say.

There's what the players say. and I think Kyrie was like Lebron Yo are you staying. and Lebron was like I'm going to L.A. man. This Dan Gilbert crap. Dude is popping off so I'm bouncing. Kyrie was like probably. I don't want to be part of a rebuild so trade me.

They put all that crap out about Kyrie wanting to have his own team. he just went to the team that was up on the up in the east.

Lebron is very calculated. he probably saw to get these new championships he's going to need Young players. players with Youth. and playing Boston he sees that firsthand.

I pointed out Brandon Ingram. he's length is the perfect player to compliment Lebron. can you imagine. Ingram and Lebron in the open court? and Lonzo is the perfect point guard to put with Lebron. he'll defer he doesn't want to shoot the ball. he can play off ball and he's a great defender.


Lebron has to be the primary ball handler on every team he's on. doesn't matter. you want the ball in his hands. he's the best player in the NBA.

Houston with Harden and Chris Paul. they have two primary ball handlers who have to handle the ball. Lebron is not playing off ball.


Lebron is a powering athletic Magic Johnson. he always grew up playing Like Magic. Magic Johnson was always his favorite player. he never immolated Michael it was Magic. the way he played he wanted to get his teammates involved. so Magic right there he's going to sign him. it's going to be something Lebron can say he did in his career. I played for Magic for the Lakers.


Lebron is a basketball guy. and to play for a franchise like the Lakers is perfect for him. he'll wear that Number 23 perfect in purple and Gold. who has it? Cederic Ceballos lol.


Jeanie Buss has been focused and enamored with Bringing Lebron James to the Lakers since he was a rookie. they've been reshaping their whole roster for this. getting everything ready. players fit type of players Lebron likes to play with. its huge.

But the Lakers always get players like this it's just the Laker way. great players will always play for the Lakers.


and when you look at Kuzma Ingram those are stretch guys that can play big be bigs and shoot the ball. We have players that compliment what he likes to do.


I think Last season Lebron knew he was going to the Lakers and told Magic. that's why all that stuff came out that Lebron is going to the Lakers.


The press conference will go like this Magic" Well he's bigger then me haha lol. And he's a better scorer. I couldn't shoot like that. but there's definitely similarities the way he gets his players involved right? the way he leads. he's a winner. he practices hard. he expects his guys to win. We need this our guys need a guy like this to show them how to win. Brandon Lonzo Kyle they gotta know. and he's gonna bring us wins he's gonna make us winning again. We are a championship franchise again. and I didn't come back to get to the playoffs. I came back to win championships. Lebron's about winning. I knew I could bring him here. Now you guys could stop bothering me about a superstar. Haha. But no it's a great day for the Lakers for the Fans for the city. we're excited. Lebron's excited. and he can look up there and see his 23 jersey with ours. he'll be adding some more trophy's and championships up there. and if he has any questions my office is right up there. Lebron" yeah it's always been where I wanted to play. the fans the city everyone's been so great to me and my family. Cleveland was great. I bought a championship there. and it was great to go back. But this is a new challenge for me bringing the Lakers back. and when you think of iconic franchises this Lakers Boston New York. I wanted to be here. Cleveland's rebuilding they are going in another direction they're going to be alright. they got Trae I talked to him. I know the kid. he's excited. But it was just something I wanted to do. I wanted to be out here. we came to the press conference today and it was like 85 and I talked to my driver and I was like it's like this out here everyday and he was like Yep. But yeah it's great being here. I talked to Magic and from the first meeting. he just let me know this was where I wanted to be. and Magic and Jeanie it was so great just talking to them it's the first time I felt like I had the support for anything I wanted in an organization. here's it's like everybody is on the same page collaborating. it's no Owner team it's like we all a team. but yeah it's great getting here. I'm excited to get in the gym with Brandon B.I. Zo and Kuz. and Paul. I talked to Paul Last season and we was like is this really possible. so to be able to finally make it happen it's exciting. I expect to win. we might not win right away. but we are competing for championships. I wouldn't come here if I didn't think I could win. I think I can win a championship here. the key is to start playing like champions. have the championship mindset. start winning games then you'll win championships. Kobe's been great Robs been great. Shaqs been great. it's funny cause I always wanted to play like Magic and you watch him playing showtime. so if we could bring it back we might not be showtime. but we gonna try. it's going to be entertaining. we excited to win. savannahs excited. everybody it's good to be in L.A. it's good to be a Laker.

PG is a no-brainer and almost everyone is saying that one...

Yeah, I definitely wish we could have the Russell and Ball picks back, but while Brown has some very nice qualities and potential, that's not one that I put in the same category. Tatum would look great in any situation, but Brown's qualities are inflated by playing on a really good team. Put him on, say, the Magic or the Suns, and nobody's clamoring to have that one back.

Oh well -- at least we flipped Russell into a nice piece in Kuz, and there's always going to be hope, however slim, that Ball can overhaul his third-grade jump shot, at which point his impact will skyrocket. Which is to say, at least we didn't pull an Elgin Baylor-era Clippers and completely whiff. We've got a solid core and we're finally moving in the right direction.

Ya I'd want the Russell pick back for the Lativian Gangbanger but then I think if they hadn't picked him they probably would have picked Okafor so in the end its Ok. We got rid of Russell and got Kuz back while ditching a big chunk of dead salary. Obviously i'd rather have The Zinger but oh well.

We all Like the Lakers so it really doesn't matter who said what first. I just said what I thought based on what scenario and how I saw it happening. I knew Lebron wasn't going back to Cleveland and I knew Paul was going to the Lakers the way he was talking. Lebron I saw the Laker scenario after the Houston ball handler volume player James Harden and Chris Paul. and Lebron it not being about the basketball decision more about him what he said after the game people talking about Lebron's record in the finals he just plays basketball and prepares. Like I said Lebron not caring about what the media says about his basketball accomplishments anymore like he did when he went to Miami. after winning the championship for Cleveland he doesn't care. beating boston was like his championship.



So I enjoy reading posts from Deep and Slava. and All of you in here who posts. that's great glad you have enthusiasm for the Lakers. but real talk really You don't have to continueosly hate on a poster when we all like the Lakers. cause if were in a bar and we are rooting for the Lakers I'm high fiving Laker fans. and all the Lakers fans I met randomly just talking we are so cool and it's all Lakers. And Thomas Bryant you haven't seen if you know Basketball. he's going to be a dude that balls with Lebron. he's athletic stretch can shoot it. they got him in shape and you are going to see a different guy. get him in fantasy dude is going to be beast in the pick and roll. very excited to watch him in Summer league. might have more upside and be better then Kuzma. You might see an improvement like you saw with Jermaine O'neal on Portland.
