He was the MVP of the Jazz series

Not really that surprising, in my NBA watching lifetime (since like 1990) I can't think of a single time when a team had back to back seasons of complete dominance. All the great teams' seasons I can remember ('96 Bulls, '01 Lakers, '17 Warriors, etc.) never had it as easy as they did those great years.

I'm surprised Kerr hasn't gone with McGee or dusted off Zaza.

The Warriors lack of a decent big being exposed out there. It may work against most teams when Green is playing like a DPOTY but if Green is not containing Capela in conjunction with Durant, it’s a major weakness.

My guess is everyone is one step slower so the quick pace, passing, shot release has dropped off a bit. That combined w/the fact Rockets were built specifically to match up with their style of play.

I am very confident Draymond and Klay will make the HOF. Being a significant role player on a historically great team goes a long way

let's say they don't win this year...

and then just win one more down the road with this core group.

does that still make the team a "historically great" team?

Iggy?
Yes. Finals MVP is a lock for HOF. Plus he's a 2 time champ.

Kerr needs to get the ball out of Green's hands.

Run some PNR action.

Their season depends on it.

This motion offense has been exposed by the Rockets. Rough up Curry and Klay, and they don't get separation for their shots.

Kenny Smith called MJ "the real GOAT". That's the end of the argument. Everyone stop.

I'll be the last to consider myself a Harden fan, but if it were not for the zebras, Houston is probably up 20 at the half.

I mean forget about flopping for a second, these two fouls were visible from Mars on a clear night. Stupid D by the rook both times, yet the refs swallowed the whistles as if their life depended on it. Just abhorrently bad officiating for a mid-October game, let alone the WCF.

First five minutes in the 3rd quarter will tell us a lot on if the Rockets are advancing or if GS steal another one.

So far, so good. Just try to get into Klay early and get him another foul, hope Curry doesn't get en fuego. If Houston had an 8-10 point lead after 3, they have a real shot at this. The 3rd has just been a back breaker damn near all series long.

I don't even like Durant but Curry is 3 for 10 and Green has 4 points and 4 turnovers while getting abused by Capela. It's all Durant though.
