Congratulations to the Warriors who, even without Iggy, were able to defeat the top seeded Rockets!!! I know this is hard to believe, but the Warriors had ONLY 4 top 20 NBA players on their team!! What a gutsy performance by the number 2 and 3 best players in the league tonight. I know they didn't have their 34 year old bench player, but they still managed to put everything they had into barely beating a team who was without their starting point guard. Unbelievable stuff here, guys. Not sure we will ever see such an underdog win a close series like this again for a long, long time.

I hate the Warriors lol

Building a winner, and doing it right, earns you hatred from Suns fans ...in general. Nice look

The salary cap explosion in 2016 really hurt the NBA. The historically good Warriors being able to sign KD outright is obviously the worst part, but plenty of those terrible contracts are still haunting teams that were otherwise promising. Morey has to really be kicking himself for giving Ryan Anderson an $80M deal.

It really wouldn’t surprise me to see this Warriors team stick together and go to the finals for nearly a decade. I had no problem with the Warriors before and still enjoy watching them play, but I’m definitely souring on them with KD and all of this talk of taking cheaper contracts to keep the band together.

Yes, after rescinding Harrison Barnes and finding a way to move Bogut's 11M contract

I have no problem with the Warriors drafting amazing talent, luring the best FA (KD's choice is what makes me dislike him, but of course the Warriors should go after him), and having a great system that leads to being favored in basically every matchup every night.

I do dislike, however, a) when Curry does his stupid dancing after every freaking 3 (I prefer the Booker celebration of getting back on defense), b) the fact that they have gotten 'a few' lucky breaks (Love/Kyrie injuries, Leonard injury, CP3 injury), c) every time Draymond does his stupid "AND 1!!!!! yell for simply finishing an uncontested layup, d) how they basically never try until they really have to and go out of their way to convince their GM to sign someone like Swaggy P because they think it's funny, and e) the fact that the media still treat their victories as something special (yes, no matter what, it is hard to win in this league. but did anyone really expect the Rockets to win even with CP3? no! but it still came to a game 7.)

Yes, they built a winner. Yes they did most of it the right way. Yes they play basketball beautifully. That is not, as you put it, the source of the hatred. They do have annoying tendencies. I HATED the Tim Duncan Spurs for the same reason. Duncan made that stupid "How the heck can you call a foul on me?!?!?" face after every foul call and Manu and Tony flopped all over the place. But dang they had an amazing organization. I'm still gonna hate them.

What’s your point lol? That doesn’t change the fact that it’s the only reason he was able to sign there. Obviously it wasn’t tough to “find a way” to move Bogut when all it took was a second rounder from the clear best team in the league, and every team in the league would drop an overpaid mediocre player like Barnes for the opportunity to sign Kevin Durant.

I'm worried this offseason could be another season of bloated contracts being handed out to lesser players with the news of gambling money coming in the near future. This gambling money may almost match the TV deals that was the cause of the 2016 salary cap explosion.

The Warriors Rockets game was rigged....

Seriously, didnt anyone notice the refs calling questionable fouls or NO calls when Rockets were up 10 early in the third...
Killed momentum... then Curry hits three 3pters in a row and the game was even and Rockets missing their's.... but that lead was cut by referees not calling a couple of fouls that would have put Rockets up 14+...

And another evidence that YOU CANNOT beat Warriors in a shootout... because they have ALL-TIME GOAT shooters, who even when cold for the first 3 quarters... would just lit up and nail 3-4 in row...

Small ball is there trap... notice that the Rockets started scoring again when they went inside and attacked the paint.

If MDA and Morey has balls they push that to the NBA... the videos are available.... replay Game 7 from third quarter onwards

It’s hard to do anything when you are frustrated and angry, especially play basketball. The refs got in their heads and it effected their play. They were up 12 after that first no call which was totally ridiculous. No way you miss that first call and the And 1 on the three. I won’t be watching 1 game of the Finals.

Finals won't be intresting for sure, but you can bet your bottom dollars that the refs/league will try to keep it close somehow.
Expect all calls to go against the Warriors, maybe suspend Draymond again (for the same **** that he does regularly without any punishment), so it will not be a 4-0 result with 15-20 point blowouts each game despite LeBrons heroics. GS in 6 (maybe 5).

Lol yeah.

Its extraordinary how some people gush over the Warriors as if they've revolutionized the game. In reality they are one of the most coddled and just plain lucky teams ever. They rarely play teams at full strength, this playoffs is no exception to that. They get away with an endless parade of illegal screens, while looking at Curry wrong is reviewed as a potential flagrant. And top it off by having the best player on a rival team join them.

The Warriors have become a very unlikable team. They are always mugging up the sheep eating grins. They got a gift tonight. Some questionable calls and untimely errors
What ? Me Worry ?
