CP has a champion mentality? Lol. Why? Because he’s small and feisty? Dude gets so much praise for accomplishing so little.

Rockets are going to max out that injury prone guy and have to worry when he will go down at any moment.

Lol at this wtf is he supposed to do? Top PG’s and top 10 players don’t grow on trees

You're at the 2nd stages of grief. But know this, the refs don't make you miss 27 consecutive threes.

Easy to go cold when momentum shifts. Ever played basketball?

Yes, my entire life including D1. My college coach would knock our heads off if we shot nothing but threes while the opposition went on a run. You're up double digits and the three isn't falling; TAKE THE BALL IN THE PAINT. It's insane to go 7-44 from 3. I'm confident in saying I saw less than 10 midrange shots from Houston tonight.

Taking 44 threes is something your little brother does in video games because he doesn't know how to do anything else. I can't believe we just witnessed that from a group of professionals in the WCF.

Once and for all, I don't want to see anyone talk about the '80s anymore.

Magic and Bird both arrived to their respective teams in the beginning of the decade, didn't meet in the Finals until four years had passed, and faced each other three times in the whole decade.

LeBron and the Warriors' rise to power both occurred in the same year—just like Magic and Bird's arrival did, and since then, they've faced either other in the Finals 100% of the time, in every one of the four years since then.

It's not remotely comparable.

What are you watching??? Green hacked him across the arm and Bell clearly is jumping towards Gordon while fading out to the baseline in-air. He clearly is going straight up and down.

Looks like Green blocks the shot at the top of Gordon’s shot (EJ wasn’t a shooter after that happened) after a wild double clutch shot attempt against taller defenders to me. Refs won’t lose any sleep over that one.

Looks clean af to me. Gordon doesn’t do himself any favors by double clutching. Go up strong!

Putting Ryan Anderson in did to Houston what Kerr putting Ezeli in did to GS in game 7 2016.

Completely **** them.

Why is harden(yes he had some stupid turnovers late and shot bad) getting so much hate when Gordon and ariza missed so many WIDE OPEN 3s? Literally no one within 3-5 feet and they kept bricking.

What I hate most about CP3 not being in there is that Harden has had his struggles this series, while Paul has been able to play well in those games, they were missing him so bad. Another thing, I'm pretty sure he orchestrates a better offense and they dont miss 27 3s in a row. The best thing going for the Rockets the first half was Capela, wtf were they thinking the 2nd half? Without Capela, they don't beat Utah, and then they shut him out for the most part this series. So stupid.

That’s their identity, and a lot of the shots were good. Again, your ignoring the clear fact that the refs played a huge hand in shifting momentum during the most important stretch of the game. Do you deny this? Or continue focusing on Houston going cold?

Lmao this may have been his peak health wise. First hand experience keep thinking the talent is going to save his availability. Will be nice winning a bunch of games but can he hold up for a real title run? Next season will be interesting

Definitely not a Mod quality post. 7-44 did have juuust a little bit to do with the outcome. Cmon man.

Would the Rockets have been 7-44 if not for the horrific missed calls though?

They're likely up 20 at half without the two missed fouls on Hardens 3s (the second led to a transition 3 by Klay). In the third the refs swallowed the whistles on drives which happens sometimes, but clearly IMO discouraged Rockets players from driving. It's possible and even likely that the obvious missed calls led to frustration for Houston which led to missed open shots.

And as far as Houston being the better team - the Warriors played losing defense tonight. They fouled a ton and gave up about 30 open threes. So while he could have expanded on it a bit, he has a point.

Yup me too, excuses are just excuses. Just like the excuse if Paul played Houston would have won. Can't have it both ways. You play with the team that is on the court.
