Celtics Keith Murray played like he just got dropped from Def Squad. 0-10 from 3? Yeesh.

Somehow Brown showed less composure than Tatum despite this being his second time in an ECF.

Mook must have thought his jersey said 33 and not 13.

Al come out full of sound and fury...signifying nothing.

And oh yea, Kyrie has yet to play in a single playoffs without LeBron.

Get the shots in while we can before the “they almost made the finals without Kyrie and Gordon” birds present their defense.

Stevens should hang with Dan Quinn....I hope the Hawks draft someone decent.. but it won't matter for a while.... on to football.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

For a lifer like me, watching the Celtics lose is just flat out fun...specially a game 7... no doubt these guys will be around for the foreseeable future though..hope with us in a couple years.

I hate Lebron too but that play..wow..he nearly carried Morris into the rim...power.

So who won the bet between you and mac-d?
Oh, Kyrie wasn't on the bench tonight. Where was he?

 I’m glad you asked Bird. I believe I won round 1 tonight. It’s a long fight obviously with the future of Kyrie as well as who the Cavs draft at 8 or what asset that pick turns into. It’s a 12 round fight!

No clue where Kyrie was tonight though. Didn’t see him. I think from here on we should see how great of a GM Danny is going to be with decisions coming on Smart and Rozier etc. Let’s see what happens.

Kyrie was either getting a head start on his press run for Uncle Drew, in the back playing backgammon with Love, or Stevens didn’t want LeBron staring at him after every made shot. Those or he caught wind of Ainge having a draft night trade in the works.

{What the ..? A Keith Murray reference? .... he really is ma$e.}

Seriously though, that comp was the most beautifulest.

Totally agree on Brown. He was completely out of it. Even during the postgame handshakes, he was like out of it.

"Sound and fury, signifying nothing"? ... respeck.

Also agree on the next year note. Folks ack like next year it'll be, "Oh dey scored 85. Add Kyme and Hayward 20 pts each so they'll just score 125!"

Not that simple, leprechauns.

I think we can put to rest that incredibly foolish notion that "Brad Stevens may be more valuable than any player in the league" that was formulated after the second round. Replace Stevens' coaching with Lebron on the roster and the Celtics are in the finals, even with a mediocre coach.

This is the first time the Celtics have lost a series after leading 2-0 in their history.

I'm flat out just happy that Al Horford got knocked out. May he never get to the finals in his career.

As much as I have never been a Lebron fan, what he's done is incredible, we can decry the competition he's faced in getting to 8 straight finals but geeez....I wish we had a player with just half his talent.
Hopefully we get one in the next two drafts.

Alice Horford had 2 offensive rebounds in the 4 losses to the Cavs this series.

You can leave the Hawks for the enemy. Your sister can keep trying to fight off trolls (herself) on twitter all day. In the end, nothing has changed Alice. You will always be the player WE THOUGHT YOU WERE!

Ps Those 2 rebounds in the 4 games happened in 1 game. So that means there were 3 losses in this series that your starting center failed to get you even 1 offensive board. That’s pretty pathetic for a 6’10” dude.

How sweet it is!

“When you play for the Boston Celtics, I believe that you’re always thinking winning a championship. That’s the reason why I came here to be in those positions to play in those types of games like yesterday.”- #Celtics Al Horford. – via Twitter ASherrodblakely

And u choked? Celts can’t wait to trade u boy!

We were so close to getting a new Finals matchup...

SO. CLOSE.

Oh, well.

Takeaways:

-Warriors are still kings out west. This was Houston's best chance at unseating GSW.

-If LBJ goes out in 5 or fewer games...I could see Rockets and LeBron joining forces to unseat them.

-Cavs are, undeniably, on the decline. It took them 7 games to beat a young, inexperienced Pacers team. It took them 7 games to beat a lineup of backups from Boston. Bucks will be better. Cleveland would have to do some massive roster reconstruction just to maintain their spot.

-If LeBron leaves, this Cavs roster isn't even a playoff team. (CLE should already be on the line trying to trade Kevin Love and #8 to MIL for Khris Middleton and #17.)

-Top-3 out East has to be Celtics, Sixers and Raptors again...in some order. But Milwaukee and Indy are rising.

Most important takeaway of all...LeBron is still LeBron.

Wait. What? Ok we need impartial judges to weigh in. The bet was "Who won the trade?" Does anyone impartial still think that the Cavs won or potentially won the trade?

Lebron is staying in the East. Why will he make it more difficult for himself to get to the Finals? I think he wants to keep his 'East streak to the Finals' intact.

Not sure how they could. Cavs are undeniably a worse team since the trade.

The Cavs haul was so unimpressive they traded most of the initial pieces...for worse pieces.

Boston is in better position than if they'd kept Isaiah, Jae and #8.

Sorry Spud. You know what i always say. Jamaal is right!

I guess if you want to wait and see if Lebron 2.0 is drafted at #8 we can. But seems like you're just stalling. There's 100 ways to measure this trade but not many come up with the Cavs ahead. I realize they are in the finals again (well Lebron is) but remember they rolled the east last year losing just 1 game. They nearly lost to the Pacers and Celtics (missing 2 all stars) this year. Seems hard to make the case they are better.
