PG is such a huge need, Sexton is my choice.

Why? Our current best player and best prospect can only guard PG's. Why would we reach for one of the bigger bust risks who doesn't fit with either Kemba or Monk?

These guys are all like 19. Choosing a PG helps us make a transition if we trade Kemba or he walks next summer. He has some weaknesses, but could develop into at least a decent backup PG.

Very tempted to go Khyri Thomas here (bulldog defender, good 3 pt shooter, older), but peer pressure was too much: went with Miles.

Went Bridges. I think Sexton may have the highest ceiling yet but his fit and bust chances scare me off. I feel like we can't take a guy at the same position as Monk and Kemba if he has that much bust potential.

Bust to me is a guy like Vonleh. Sexton has the size and shot to stick around this league for awhile. If Raymond Felton is still around, how is a guy like Sexton not going to work out somewhere? We've obviously had a backup PG problem for years now and why would we consider Monk in any choice we make? He was putrid for most of last season and if we can get a better guy that plays a similar position, I'm for it.

Yeah, I agree. I went Sexton and I think he'll start in this league. The problem with PGs is good ones are a dime a dozen, so they're less valued. And, while I'd like to see Monk continue to play the 1, I think it's wise we draft Sexton if he's on the board. Will be interesting to see what happens, and I wouldn't be mad if Miles Bridges was the pick.

I see Sexton as a Vonleh type. He has the tools but people question his brain. I completely see this as a wasted pick if we take him because he doesn't fit on our team at all. I imagine he would be worse to start out than Monk despite the fact he isn't making a move to a new position and would have a decent coach. We are not the right fit for him and he isn't the right fit for us. If he is the best guy we have left on our board trade down and acquire more assets and someone who fits out teams future.

I have no idea who to vote for after this. I don't like Sexton's game, but he does have lottery talent so I guess I'd vote for him at 12. I'd probably try to trade back to get Troy Brown if both Bridges and SGA are off the board.
