In sports anything can happen. Injuries can happen to other teams as well. You can never say never. Who would have imagined that a player gets injured after 5 minutes into the season and we still contend? This is sports. While it´s unlikely that we reach the FInals and once there even less likely to win...you need to keep fighting and believing. Just step by step , not looking at the end of the road...but that end might still be the title.

Come on now, stop with the “ra ra” stuff.

This team has absolutely no chance of beating a Golden State with this injury-plagued roster. Let’s not pretend that’s possible. It isn’t. At all.

So in the end it was actually 6 minutes away from becoming true. I tell you, in Sports anything is possible and it was actually a shocker not to be in the Finals this year. So next time, don´t understimate the chance of our Celtics. ;)

I didn’t. The team still had absolutely no shot of beating Golden State and we were 6 minutes away from making the Finals, not winning the Finals, which is what I said.

Fun ride, but nothing I said was untrue.

Ok man, have it your way. But you were so close to being wrong, just sticking to pessimism. All I am saying is that we were closer to the optimistic view than to the pessimistic goals of many fans at the beginning of the playoffs. I just think the so called realists (in sports at least) is a safer way to follow sports, but not the most likely one ;)

But I wasn’t wrong. So you can stop your attempt at a “weeks later” dig post right there.

Ok, I am sure you also believed we would rip Philly 4-1 and beat Cavs 3 times forcing LeBron to the very physical limit.

And if I am saying this now is because I got laughed at by being optimistic in sports. The truth is some people who thought Giannis would beat us in the first round are not being criticised while the ones who dream receive a non respectful criticism. Just saying.

Baynes is married to... Rachel Adekponya. Rachel is also an Australian and a younger sister to Matthew Adekponya, the professional basketball player playing guard for the Grand Rapids Drive. He was undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, making him an unrestricted free agent. The couple currently has a son whom they named Mason. They moved to Boston after Aron signed a deal with the Boston Celtics.

I was kind of hoping in your last tweet on the end it would say "resume basketball activities for Boston in 2-4 weeks."

Plates and screws removed? Doesn't sound like Hayward could have "chosen" to play to me.

Hey Smitty, you think that Hayward, or any of the formerly Injured, will make Cameo playing performances, in the Summer League?

And considering we were closer to beating Lebron in game 7 than getting beat down by the Sixers, it turns out the kool aid drinkers were actually more reality-based than the negative nancies.

I wonder whether the decision to remove was influenced by Kyrie's experience with leaving metal in

It at least sounds like a botched operation/treatment plan for Gordon. Hard to imagine he's not pissed to have dealt with it this long--and still have so much further to go. By the new estimate he's not starting basketball activity until August--which is 9 months after it originally happened.
