I listened to that podcast... dude also said that he heard rumblings that MPJ was a **** teammate at Mizzou and comes off as entitled. I don't know how he'll handle being second or even third fiddle on a team like the Bulls. LaVine isn't about to give up his touches and Lauri is arguably -- arguably -- our best player.

MPJ questions about his back and attitude in the locker room means he will drop big time!

Last I heard he isn’t giving his medical to anyone. He’s keeping that secret.

I don’t believe that one bit. If he didn’t teams would be making a bigger deal about it to the media to put pressure on him to release it like teams often do with high-profile players in the top 10 when they have injury stuff.

Some Bulls fans are convinced the Bulls are working with his agent to get him to Chicago. Apparently he's been at the United Center a handful of times watching Bulls games and has social media out there where he's rocking Bulls gear.

I’m one of those Bulls fans. And before someone calls me out because I’m also a fan of LA teams, I’m a fan of basketball. And I lived in Chicago for almost 8 years. Give me some slack.

But yeah, its seemed like for years the Bulls have wanted him. Like the entire rebuild was to get Porter.

I smell a smoke screen. My wife is a Mizzou grad and friends of the Porter family were in my wedding. We still visit them in Columbia often. MPJ is not a **** teammate, that is complete nonsense.

I don't buy the bad teammate nonsense either, so whether that says anything about the credibility about the claims about his back, idk, but I am scared that MPJ's back is a red flag.

MP Jr smokescreening so he can end up in NY or PHI.

*Don't actually think that, he looked horribly shaky in his return*

Yeah, several high school recruiting guys have said that they had never heard anything about him being a bad teammate until now. This includes people who lived in that area. So I call BS on this...

...now the back is another question.

I wouldn't take MPJ top 10. You've got health risks, and you've got not knowing if he's any good risk, all together you have a fairly massive risk of the pick being a zero. And it's not like his combo forward (Jabari Parker?) type game is that undeniable, if it was Ayton I would understand more based on his physical tools

Dean is terribly wrong on that btw, 2017 was Fultz, 2015 was Towns, 2014, Parker tied with Wiggins and 2013 was Noel

If we take what draftexpress had mocked the first week of October each year, he's mostly right, I think:

https://web.archive.org/web/20121001225103/http://draftexpress.com
2013: Shabazz

https://web.archive.org/web/20131007232347/http://www.draftexpress.com/
2014: Wiggins (ahead of Randle, Exum)

https://web.archive.org/web/20141001021224/http://draftexpress.com
2015: Okafor

https://web.archive.org/web/20151006021232/http://www.draftexpress.com:80/
2016: Labissiere

https://web.archive.org/web/20161001020552/http://draftexpress.com
2017: Fultz (Giles 3rd)

Which, even if you want to look at other mocks or different dates, gives weight to Dr Positivity's point about the uncertainty of the top high school's prospect's evaluation.

I mean, couldn't we say the same about the draft in general? Even after we saw one college season, many high picks turn out to be merely rotational players or worse. There's uncertainty and overhype no matter if these guys are picked straight out of HS or after one, two years of college. Of course any additional data, footage against better players, playing for good programs etc. helps to evaluate the players and reduce uncertainty a bit, but the draft at the top remains a crapshoot nonetheless and uncertainty and failure to meet expectations remain incredibly high.

Towns wasn't a consensus number one in 2014? He wasn't even top 10 from what I remember.
