[Bodner] According to NBA executives, during his time in Toronto Bryan Colangelo had multiple burner RealGM accounts

On the Sixers Beat podcast, Derek Bodner said that he spoke with multiple NBA execs who strongly suspected that Colangelo had several burner RealGM accounts when he was in Toronto. Starts around 00:17:09 of the podcast.

Good thing the Sixers did their due diligence when they hired a GM for the most important period for the franchise in over a decade.

I love how this went from an inside joke to a legit possibility.

NetSetence was literally almost our GM. That's an actual thing that actually happened. I'm appalled.

I checked the thread again. He didn’t post much about the GM position until after Marks became the front runner.

Thank GOD Prokhorov picked Marks. We'd be in serious trouble if he hired BC based on the stuff Net Sentence used to say.

Someone on reddit found his 2015 draft writeup, and pointed out that its pretty detailed for an average fan.

Eh, not anymore detailed and in depth then some of us here used to write when we paid attention to the draft.

I was going to ask what happened to Enetric too haha, he was all over that thread cursing out Colangelo.

NetSentence, what a trip.

I always assumed he was affiliated with Billy King administration because he left the Board soon after Marks had started winning over this Board.

He fumbled the #1 draft pick even after Fultz had a bad workout.

Markelle Fultz reportedly struggled in his workout with the Philadelphia 76ers last June, which league sources say caused some members of the front office to take a second look at drafting Jayson Tatum or Lonzo Ball. The 76ers were in the process of finalizing their trade with the Boston Celtics for the No. 3 overall pick, but Fultz struggled badly with his jumper during the workout.

Fultz's struggles during his workout with his shot were a precursor to the issues he struggled with throughout what was effectively a lost rookie season.

The idea of reconsidering Tatum or Ball was shot down by Colangelo, according to sources.

Ignorant **** that Colangelo is. I think he was the "Still Balling" account - the one that The Ringer asked about that was left unprivate. The other 3 accounts was the wife, and the 5th Account, Colangelo already admitted to using as a team media account.

But you can't tell me NS wasnt Colangelo. We already know he used RealGM in Toronto. Everybody is saying they thought he was BK linked, but he was never pro BK until after Marks. He used to sh*t on BK like the rest of us. I actually remember an argument with him because I thought he should give BK more credit for drafting RHJ.

His irrational defense of Billy King was mind numbing.
