Yay I’m first. Had a conflict that kept me from watching this. Catching rebroadcast now. LeBron is so good. And that first half ending three from Curry was special.

JR reminded me Karius in the champions league final last weekend. This stuff happens, guys have huge mental lapses.

Anyway, I said it before the series, I love the fact that the warriors exist, because the force other players to bring their A game or even push past what they have ver done before. I expect more performances like this from lebron, even if it ends in 4. Other greats like Jordan would do similar things. And I love seeing what's humanly possible.

JR blew it. They had this game won at the end of regulation. Next game it will be a home blowout win. The missed the chance to make it a series...

Jordan never would have passed the ball to george hill.... if he had curry guarding him with no hand checking/no rim protector/floor spacing with all the 3 point shooters/no double team...Jordan would have easily scored on curry and won the game. LeBron defers to a scrub like george hill and you deserve to lose. Period.

George Hill man...
Lebron carries you with 51/8/8 and you can't step up and hit 2 free throws.

Pathetic... :nonono:

George Hill was on his way to being wide open underneath the basket. If you can't trust your teammate to make a WIDE OPEN layup, then you shouldn't be involved in team sports. PERIOD. Or that teammate is a random guy who paid the team millions, maybe even billions to make the roster and play in the last minutes of a clsoe finals game.

Feel like this has to be sarcasm. Warriors were ready to send a double team and trap as soon as LeBron made a move, and he passed It to an 80%+ FT shooter that he knew was getting fouled.

Why would he force a terrible shot when you can send one of your best FT shooters to the line to take the lead? Any other decision would have been stupid.

Lebron routinely misses 1 of 2 free throws. The msith play was much bigger and killed cavs momentum going into OT. Also the dubs realized that they had been saved quickly sealed the deal.
FTs happened, but that smith play was too much

With no hand checking allowed, Jordan would have made that 3 with his eyes closed, just to challenge himself. The cavs would also be up 2-0 already with jordan on as their best player

If the Warriors keep defending LeBron the way they are then LeBron might average 40ppg for an entire series.

The funny thing yet again. Almost everyone was saying 'ugh, so boring GSW vs Cavs again, I'm turning this off, I'm boycotting the NBA, it's so rigged, wake me up when it's 2019.'

A few moments later... 227 pages for Game 1 alone on this forum. It's so obviously not boring and the NBA is thriving like ever before. Love or hate the Warriors/refs you were still enthralled by the game regardless.

Well, David vs Goliath is always fascinating, as long as David has a chance.

If it's just a series of Goliath smashing David's head in, it's not as fun. I think most people expected the latter. Hopefully game 1 is a preview of what this series has to offer.

If you dont get fooled by hockey assists, Dreymond impact in offense is dreadful. Warriors play much metter without him(on offense)
