Carter seems like the ideal trade up target, yea. I have no idea what the Bucks could offer if he starts slipping, though. Brogdon, probably.

Really hoping one of Williams, SGA or Knox falls to us. Not looking good though.

I'm not a fan of Kevin Knox, but I'm a huge fan of Robert Williams and SGA. Too many teams ahead of us could use centers and PG's so I'm not getting my hopes up for either player falling to 17.

Assuming Robert Williams is off the board, I've got Gary Trent Jr. with the very slight edge over Mitchell Robinson. It's down to these two guys if Williams is off the board (likely).

Chandler Hutchison doesn't have as many votes as I think he should. Perfect NBA body, he's 6'7" with a 7'1" wingspan. He's made huge improvements since his freshman and sophomore year. Started working with the coach (Phil Beckner) that helped turn Lillard into the star he became at Weber St during Hutchison's junior year.

His shooting mechanics look great even though his shooting percentages don't really reflect that yet. I've read articles about his crazy work ethic and I think he's going to become a real solid NBA player. His usage was too high at Boise St in my opinion but once he's put in a more fitting role in the NBA I think he's going to be a real good player. He is so smooth getting to the rim for his size, now that the shooting mechanics are there I think he's definitely worthy of consideration at 17.

Bulls promised to take him at 22 so he skipped this years combine but I wouldn't be mad at all if we took him at 17. Still prefer Khyri Thomas but Zhaire and Hutchison are the next 2 on my list.

Maybe Hambone still has a hard on for Thon?

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

So should we touch tips or something? Pretty sure the Bucks still have a hard on for Thon too.

Idk if we're talking perfect target it has to be JJJ. Can switch 1-5, higher 3P%, elite shot blocker. Will have to slip a lot though. I'm only trading up to Carter if it doesn't involve Middleton. I'd gladly trade Middleton for JJJ though.

Yea, I mean a trade target that might be realistic.

No brainer. Have been sitting here thinking about if I'd offer Brog to move up for Smith.

Idk if I were to go by today I'd say the draft goes Ayton, Doncic, Bagley and Memphis trades the pick.

Really? I'm not that high on Brogdon but I'm pretty confident Smith drops out of the lottery. If I'd like him as much as you I'd take my chances.

Oh man we’d have zero ball handling lol. Brog and Smith (or Melton) on the court together would be awesome defensively. I think ideally we sign and trade Jabari for Carter after the draft or try dangling Bledsoe’s expiring and Thon etc package taking back a bad contract. Like Clippers offering 11+12 to the Griz for 4 and Parsons

Bagley+Collins might be the worst defensive big man pair in the history of the league, can’t see that happening

I think people need to abandon this idea that Jabari is going to get you anything in the top 10. His value isn't there. Especially if you pay him 3 times what that pick is getting paid.

I want to like Trent more but his handle is just so bad. I don't know how he survives with that in the NBA unless he gets a lot quicker.

I think people forget how dumb some GMs are in this league as far as player valuation or at least they haven’t been paying attention to our own FO (although our own FO maybe be too dumb to pull off any great deals so the point may be Moute anyway)

I don't think that you base your decision on who to pick on Collins.

Skills our center needs.
1a. Rebounding
1b. Shooting
2. Low post defender
3. Shot blocking/ passing

Welcome to the club

If by low post defender you mean keep him in the post all game then yeah. Get him out of the paint or in a pick and roll and he is useless. Duke went to the zone because him and Bagley were continuously shredded defensively. That type of play won’t cut it in the NBA
