Don't believe me just watch  they should have drafted Dennis Smith Jr they never draft the right player besides Porzingis.

Dennis Smith looks horrendous. Ntilikina is still a very interesting prospect. I think Jrue Holiday is a solid (not perfect) comp for him as far as his ceiling. He's got a bit of George Hill to him as well.

DSJ will never amount to anything in this league. Ntilikina looks like a low end starter/high end backup at the very least for the next decade. With solid starter potential

I think you’re going to see massive improvement from him this season. The amount of world wide talent right now is incredible.

I have though, that every off season sees guys grow to 6’10”,gsin 25 Lind’s if rock hard muscle, etc.

Mardy Collins was much more athletic than Ntilikina is.

Beaubois can shoot, and he is a very good scorer. He also plays absolutely no defense. These two players are polar opposites.

This kid already plays defense at an elite level, he's just 19.

He could be a taller Marcus Smart but I think his shooting will be much better, I hope he can somehow develop into a Billups / Conley / Holiday type of player, some of the most underrated players in the league.

Not trying to even be a hater but there's nothing really impressive about those clips. D2/D3 guard prospects do those drills on the daily with a tighter handle/more explosive step.

That's your opinion then, I'm okay with that. But I disagree with it big time.

Dennis Smith Jr.
15 ppg 5 assissts and 3.8 rebounds a game

Frank
6ppg 3 assists 2 rebounds a game

Numbers don't lie.

Numbers can certainly lie, but there’s also the possibility both end up being good players. Shocking thought, right?

what did jaylen brown’s stats look last year?

You’re delusional if you think dsjr is someone worth losing sleep over, and that’s who I wanted the Knicks to pick.

This isn’t Mitchell you’re talking about here.

I think those are solid comparisons. I think you could throw a Nic Batum type in there. Just a guy that will put up solid all around numbers, not dominant scorers but smart players that don't hurt you anywhere and play both sides of the ball well.

His major problem last year was confidence and strength. He has all of the tools to be a good player and his work ethic and desire to improve seem to be there. Let's see if he can put it all together.

They really arent that similar at all. Shump came out as a late first rounder that was uber athletic. More like Lonnie Walker type of prospect if anything.

He's a big guard. But he's lacking explosiveness. Or maybe he's moving half speed. I'm not sure what I'm looking for in these videos? What weaknesses have been improved?

Ok that's nice, but i'm still relatively unimpressed by him offensively. its nice if you can play defense but ultimately without offense it means little to nothing other than you're a good role player that can lock up people. He needs to develop an offensive game. I'm going to use Kris Dunn as a comparison, he had a horrible first season (as did Nkilitina) but he went onto do well in Chicago, i think Nkilitina, maybe with a new coach has a season similar to that.

Oh yeah, it would be stupid to move him to S.G, the idea when they drafted him as that he would develop as a fanastic passer, why the hell would you move him to S.G. then, who cares if he's 6'6, he's still got the skillset of a P.G.

People always fall in love with the raw prospects, get enamoured by their 'ceiling', then get shocked that they aren't close to that ceiling in their first year.

Frank always had a lot of potential, he was a stud defender, played smart and within himself offensively, he had a good season. He needs, primarily, to prove he can shoot the ball at a high level, and also demonstrate developments in his ability to run an offense and create on-ball.

well its good to know that he has a great work ethic. I hate when people constantly expect players to improve just because they're super young  that doesn't mean a damn thing. Other than maybe last season, Tyreke Evans was at his best during his rookie year. there is zero guarantee either way in terms of these players flopping or ascending with each passing season. Especially if they aren't known to work very hard.

I like Frank a lot. Hopefully he gets it together on the offensive side of the ball.

Mitchell is a star player no doubt. But Frank's current defensive game is absolutley game breaking, he was locking up Kyrie ffs. A 6'6" point guard who was a raw player will learn and become a star. He's going to become the point guard version of the unicorn. So yeah I doubt it becomes such a blunder down the road.

I wonder what Mitchell was doing at 19

Yeah the unicorn has accomplished so much
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Some very poor offensive thinking in Frank which may mean he never makes it in the NBA.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Take a look at Kemba Walker and Gary Payton rookie years.
