Technically we have no any space in the salary cap for any deal from Free Agency this summer since it is announced that FO priority is to sign a max deal with Jokic. But we have big SF problem in our unbalanced roster with too many PF's, so except to get some SF in a direct trade, we can also trade for dumping players to create salary cap space and then buy player available on FA market. Depending on our salary cap space another Nuggets FA target (except SF) can be a backup guard.

Belinelli wuold be an decent backup pg/sg/sf at the right price (he probably wants more than minimum but not so much). Intelligent players who understand their role and can step up in some games are always a blessing in a po/borderline po team.

I agree, was very high on him in the 2015 draft, plus he started to turn it on towards the end of the season. Because of that though I could see him getting a few make-or-break deals but great eyes guys !!
I really don't see us as being players in FA this year, we probably can't even afford our own in Will Barton. We'll be eating leftovers this year, fellas.

I like the idea of Hezonja, but his issues are the same as Juancho's are. Neither of them are quite strong enough to play PF or a good enough ball handler to be a more traditional SF. If we could dump Chandler than I would be fine with Hezonja, Juancho, and Craig all fighting for the minutes at the 3 this year.
I would also not be so quick to write off Tony Parker. The Spurs want him to come off the bench, and he may even be in danger of losing that if Bryn Forbes or Derrick White take big steps up this offseason. Unlike most ring chasers Parker is reportedly feeling disrespected and wants to prove he can still play. Even if he is only an average backup PG now, his knowledge, experience, and work ethic would be all be a huge benefit for our young team. Plus it will give Murray and Morris time with a former all star that was a major part of a championship team. I think he would sign for the LLE for an almost guaranteed 20 mpg in the rotation, and if he is terrible than you will have Morris getting ready.
I would also would not mind them signing Mbah a Moute, I think he will be close to the minimum in this cash strapped offseason, and think he would make a good place holder at SF next season.

I believe there are a few teams that would actually like him, but even those probably think his contract is too high. The teams with cap-space are typically rebuilding and he's not what they are looking for. It seems likely that we have to give up an asset to trade him or keep him for one more year. But that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before.

For me, his case is not even close that bad, especially not hopeless, like Denver FO trying to present. Faried is now into expiring year, and $12M is not so big amount of money now when the salary cap is over $120M. And don't forget, he is a useful player, and not no-name guy considering that he is a former member of US National Team.
Maybe problem is that other Front Offices are disrespectful to our FO. And after making of Nurkic "negative asset" without the reason, after that tragic D.Mitchell deal, after our FO fall to sign Tyreke Evans on Trade Deadline, and fall to get anything in the back for Mudiay under a rookie contract (we gifted Knicks), things are now even worse!
If we give Faried "for nothing", it actually would not be really "for nothing" like in Mudiay case, because in Faried case we will create salary cap space, enough to buy decent SF on free agency market. If nobody wants Faried as a gift, we can put our 2nd round pick in the offer (#58, not #43). If you ask me I would give Faried, Lydon, #58 and Arthur for "nothing", which would create around 20M salary cap extra space.

2 years ago Faried had value, today he has none. The teams with the cap space to take Faried are not looking for role players like Faried, they are looking for stars and young cheap role players that they can develop. The teams that covet the guys like Faried do not have the cap space to give the Nuggets.
His value is in trades that bring back iffy contracts that are better fits, but we need cap space more. The teams that have the cap space is limited, and they will want something of value to them to take back the contracts that FAried and Arthur are on.
Also it will take a lot more than Faried to dump enough salary to sign a few agent.

They should try sign Rondo but for the reasonable money, playmaker they need , plus he's the champion, can be a head case but if they can manage him, he would be a great addition.

Harris plays 32+ mpg. Murray about the same. That leaves 32 mpg for Beasley & Morris development. Sure, we can use a decent vet backup guard. The question is, will Malone give Beasley & Morris any minutes? If so, will Rondo settle for 16 mpg? That's assuming Beasley & Morris get around 8 mpg each (I'm hoping for a little more). Plus there are plenty of folk around here won't want Rondo. I think he's OK with the bench but he's of value only if he's got the ball in his hands - at least on offense.

What you guys think about Avery Bradley ? He is good D player and exactly what we need. I know he had some injuries with Clippers but i think he would be fine when season starts. Maybe S&T straight for Barton ?
