Here is an interesting list of best HS players in 2015 including grades 9-12:

I mean, couldn't we say the same about the draft in general? Even after we saw one college season, many high picks turn out to be merely rotational players or worse. There's uncertainty and overhype no matter if these guys are picked straight out of HS or after one, two years of college. Of course any additional data, footage against better players, playing for good programs etc. helps to evaluate the players and reduce uncertainty a bit, but the draft at the top remains a crapshoot nonetheless and uncertainty and failure to meet expectations remain incredibly high.

Definitely, I think that tweet was just highlighting how much less we've seen of Porter than other guys, and as you say, those are already hard to project. Which is an obvious thing to say about the draft, but still an important point about why Porter could fall more than expected.

I've said it before. I dont see Paul George, I see Melo-lite/Rudy Gay/Higher IQ Beasley
Run Jump athlete, but only above average first step and lateral quickness. Low IQ on defense and poor vision.

He's at least the same level of prospect as Jayson Tatum if not better

I won't to be proved wrong because he seems like the Bulls most likely pick, but I'm skeptical. I mean, he should be able to score the rock, for sure, but I liked guys like Tatum a lot more.

This is a ridiculous take.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

It’s not. And I feel like he will be the best pro from the draft class.

we got hindsight to look at. Nobody had Tatum top 3 last year. Most places had him slotted around #7, right where Porter Jr is. They share very similar concerns..except the back surgery.

And seeing zero play of college basketball
And missing 1 year of play and development in college basketball
And those two games we saw him he well doesnt impress...

So you sure surgery is the only concern?

Is this dude not working out for teams yet. I'd assume he'd be the first and try to get his name buzzing on the workout trail.

Okay that's good to know. Is he working out for the Hawks or any other teams. If he doesn't want to work out here than they I wouldn't bother considering him.

Kings & Grizzlies confirmed they will be there, but other teams probably will be as well.
