This had me imagining a move up to grab Trae Young to pair with Giannis. I know some people are skeptical of Young but if he hits, he would be ideal with Giannis.

Saw something the other day that Young took 1/3 of his 3s from 30 feet.

So many mocks with us taking Holiday it’s concerning because I can totally see our FO thinking it’s a brilliant move just like Thon. Ugh

"RODIONS KURUCS!" cried Harry, and the cat's eyes shone in the dark stone hallway like translucent agate.

Or just take Okobo and not have to give up every single asset we have.

, or trade for Kemba because he's a better fit than Bled and they don't think he'll re-sign w/ Charlotte. Then that would free the Bucks up to address another position in the draft like center (Spellman) or wing next to Middleton (Brown, Hutch, etc.)

No reason to trade assets for a very flawed prospect in young because of a trait that theoretically fits next to Giannis. Could end up with the next Jimmer w/ a weaker supporting cast that way. Would rather increase volume rather than decrease thru this draft.

I don't think we could get Kemba without taking Batum back. If we could do Jabari S&T, Bledsoe, 17, for Kemba, MKG, Frank the Tank, I'd love to though.

Don't think we should have to give up 17 at the very least (and can't, like emunney said). 3 theoretical significant assets for 1 on a 1-yr deal and what I'd view as a mini albatross in MKG. Incidentally, those would have to be separate trades because you can't s&t as part of a package only for one. But the rules could be worked around.

We can't trade the 17th pick in a Jabari sign and trade. This would involve us accidentally taking a player at 17 that Charlotte wanted without knowing that Charlotte would be interested a S&T for Jabari at whatever unknown contractual terms Jabari would require to make this happen.

True, my bad with that oversight.

Why????? I am not trying troll you. I am not going to say he is going to be a bad pick. Can he be any worst than DJ Wilson? I think not. :D

kevin Huerter sounds intriguing. I really miss the DX strengths and weaknesses videos.

Right now I am probably leaning something like this of what I think will realistically be there;
Trade our pick with someone that will guarantee Jontay Porter next season
Zhaire Smith
Trade down
Okobo, Huerter, Brunson, Kyri Thomas and then with the second pick from the trade down any of Robinson, Shamet, Divincenzo, Milton, Jevon Carter, and what the hell Duval.

Once I do more research Okobo and Huerter have a chance to get ahead of Trade down I think.

There's just so much potential in that 2nd round
I'd throw a few bucks in a hat to buy a pick

Trading down is nearly always a bad idea. I don't get the fascination with it. Unless a team is desperate to trade up (like the Celtics for Winslow) or you're getting something you desperately want, stay where you are.

That said, trade the farm for JJJ.

I'd be very surprised if Okobo does't go in the top 20. I'm honestly quite worried he'll off the board at 17. He's just so clearly a lotto talent IMO.

If ALL he did was get Giannis to 80 FT%, we get a third of a point a game.

Man SGA falling to 14-16 in some of the mocks lately is interesting. Wouldn't he be a great value pick at 17 and a guy with a high pedigree /good potential starting guard? I don't watch a ton of college ball, but he seems like a really nice prospect to get outside of the lottery.

I kind of see Young as a new age AI without the cultural significance. His shot chart is nuts.

I'd be really surprised if Weltman and Hammond pass on him.

Would AI be viewed as effective in this era? I had a hard enough time acknowledging it in the previous one.

He doesn't really seem like Hambone's type. He drafted Jennings. But he wasn't short (limbed) and unathletic.

If AI played like Nash and vice versa, would they both have been twice as good?
