Carroll was not good this season. He only looked decent because he hustle hard....On the hawks, dude was actually decent or it could of been the system that made him look decent. On the raptors he was terrible. DUde can't play SF effectively and is more of a 4 now.
Mozgov peaked before he went to the lakers. Dude got benched for TT.
Lin's peak was during linsanity. Dude never got anywhere near that form again... COuld be a fluke, but I think of it more as being the focal point of the offense similar to Spencer and having great physical gifts....
Also, as you said the game is changing. THE NBA is a young mans game now, with all the running they do and the uptempto they play. Maybe, back than it was 26-31, definitely not now in todays NBA.
Carroll wasn't good this season? Next to Hollis-Jefferson, Carroll was one of the most consistent performers on the team.
It's funny how people have short term memory...
When was he one of the most consistent players on the nets...
Only consistent players were Harris and RHJ before his injury.....
This dude was chucking 3s all season long (half of his shots were 3 pointers) and played average defense..
It's funny, dudes were complaining about his play all season long and now he's one of the most consistent players on the team last season.
Carroll is what he is. An average player that relies on workrate. On a team like the Nets, where the center doesn't rebound well (because of his body) and your PF is the same size as your SG, getting boards might be inflated..(In addition to Kenny's love for smallball)
Carroll would be irrelevant on any contender team just like he proved in Toronto, while they replaced him with a teenager that did tons better than he ever did and defended Lebron 1000x better.
And yet people actually think he would fetch a first round pick....
Carroll had the 3rd most winshares on this team, knocked down 37% of this 3pters and had a 55%TS you **** ing idiot. he literally was one of the best players on the team and was right there with RHJ and Harris as far as consistency. The best players overall on the Nets last season: RHJ, Carroll, Harris, Dinwiddie, Allen. everyone else is up for debate.
who was complaining about his play? people on this board were devastated the night that Carroll went down with a knee injury and we all thought he was done for until he came back quickly. where were you at that time bro? hiding behind your previously banned screen name? FOH.
Keep posting this stuff though. you're not a Nets fan, and you'll get handled sooner than later.
i am sick and tired of Jeremy Lin's sycophants pulling this garbage.
