I was hoping you would chime in, but didn't want to unnecessarily drag you into it.

Well stated, jay.

If either ever happened and I was around, I'd use what little sway I have to see that it never happened again.

I lose more faith in people by the year.

Cries of a double standard have indeed begun by the right. Justifiably. And being levied 100% on political terms. I'm mainly just disappointed Sam Bee would do something so stupid...directly following the Roseanne controversy.

Borrowing a bit from SVP...

This is the best thing I saw today:

A soldier died before meeting his baby, so his Army family welcomed her with open arms

Two-month-old Christian Harris just got to meet some very special people: the soldiers who served alongside her late father.

Army Spc. Christopher M. Harris died in August, just one week after his wife, Britt Harris, told him she was pregnant. He was serving in Afghanistan when his wife called from Fayetteville, North Carolina, to share the news.

"He teared up and immediately started telling all of his friends," Harris said, explaining that being a dad was her husband's biggest goal in life.

Days later, Harris was one of two soldiers killed in action in a vehicle explosion.

I also just finished the second season of Atlanta and man, Donald Glover is firing on all cylinders at the moment, from "Atlanta" to his "This is America" video. Really a superstar of our generation.Sent from my iPhone using RealGM Forums

Glover is a really talented, insightful dude. Came totally out of nowhere for me. The 'Atlanta' series is supremely well-done. That Teddy Perkins episode .... still gives me nightmares. And, based on that middle school episode, somebody on the team creating that show grew up near me. Had to. That episode absolutely captured Killer Grove life back then. And that final scene/sequence in the finale was just great. Classic TV.

I haven't watched it yet.

I just wanted to reach back and say how disappointed I am in you, burd. That series is must-see TV. That and you haven't seen Deadpool 2 yet either? SMH. Priorites, jay. Priorities.

@jamall, if you don't get choked up reading stories like that, you're probably not human.

Saw that this past weekend. Real tear jerker, but so hard warming. It's such a pity the overall Goodness in people don't make the top hits as opposed to all the hate and malice.

My word...

Woman's obituary takes a dark turn: 'World is a better place without her'

This will be tame compared to the eulogy I give at your funeral, bro. I'm gonna have slides and video too.

Seriously though, that's just plain savage.

At @spud2's funeral, about 6 fat chicks gonna show up saying they're his "wife". A huge brawl's gonna ensue at that point. It'll be glorious.

I'm embarrassed to say the significance of Doris Burke's career was largely lost on me. She done some great things and broken (cracked?) that glass ceiling along the way.

And in response:

Newspaper pulls woman's viral revenge obituary that says 'world is a better place without her'

A Minnesota newspaper pulled a paid obituary from its website Tuesday that detailed a deceased woman’s affair with her husband’s brother and accused her of abandoning her two children.

A relative told the Star Tribune that the allegations in the obituary are true but that there is more to the story.

The newspaper took down the obituary amid an outcry from readers who felt it was in poor taste.

She does a great job and you should be ashamed that you don't know more about her. Shame on you, @jammmmm.

Didn't even get to the tidbit about Doris and Smoove definitely having a thing. The tension during ESPN broadcasts were very hawkward.
