Cavs down 6, with less than a minute.
Celtics would have done better than this.

Kevin Durant was THE MAN tonight :o , on a night the Splash Brothers turned into the Trash Brothers for most of the game.

Lebron is a finals jinx!!!!! Dude is never catching Jordan, he may not even get a 4th. All time great talent but in the finals his teams are cursed IMO.

Good on you Kyrie for getting the hell out of that sinking ship.

reload has said a few times Durant/Kyrie are best BEST friends. Just FYI.

And I won't speculate anymore since I doubt Durant kinda leaves since he is on his way to another ring.

LeBron has faced arguably the greatest team of all time 4 straight years in the finals. He's lucky to have won 1 of those. Could have won the first one if Kyrie and Love were healthy..but dude had no shot the last two years. The talent difference this year is bigger than the sweep he took to San Antonio back in the day..

I do fear what he may come up with in the offseason though. It's clear he's going to try and find the best team possible to beat these Warriors..

A lot of the Cavs team decisions are also via Lebron. He wanted Lue and a lot of these players around him. But now they aren't good enough for him.

Honestly though Brun, I think the Celtics would do a lot better vs. the Warriors.

The best team possible to beat the Warriors is Lebron signing with the Celtics at a bargain rate but I think a Warriors sweep makes a Lebron stopover in Boston more likely.

Philly with Lebron I don't think beats a healthy GSW next year.

Iguadola slowed James the hell down in the second half.

The only shot James has to ever beat these Warriors again is to join Houston and have them also keep Paul and Capela.

Paul/Harden/James/Ariza/Capela can beat the Warriors.

No other team and formation will get the job done, besides maybe joining Boston, which isn’t happening.

Lebron in Philly is a 5 game loss to GS waiting to happen, if, and that’s a big if, they can even get past the healthy Celtics.

Jalen Rose said on the Simmons podcast that he thought Durant could leave the Warriors in a few seasons and that Internet types had started to run with it like it was real news.

The only time I see anything from this Lifshatz guy is when people post stuff on this forum from him, and it seems he is one of those guys who just posts any rumour he hears about on the Internet as his own stuff, hoping one of them sticks.

Healthy Boston is already better than Houston and not relying upon aging Chris Paul... And also fits Lebron's own talents much better....

And Celtics have picks to continue to add to the team and replace injured players. Houston doesn't really have that.

Kyrie/Hayward both injury risks but I trust them more than Paul at this point since they are younger.

With Celtics he is operating with some serious young talent as well.

Celtics would still allow Lebron to basically play his game and fit into the system. Houston not as much with Harden so ball dominant.

Doubt it. He’s not walking away from this. Then again, maybe he’s content with 2 rings and Finals MVPs and wants to try prove he can truly be the guy on the team.

Return to Boston Celtics
