Great to have the Caps win the Stanley Cup. It is great to see all the excitement across the area for the team.

Is there a date for the parade yet?

Hope to around when the Bullets finally get there again.

President Trump told two senior Russian officials in a 2017 Oval Office meeting that he was unconcerned about Moscow’s interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election because the United States did the same in other countries

Article I read was 4-6 days if Caps won in Vegas. It will be on a weekday. Suppose to be nice Wednesday-Friday.

Congrats especially go to Ovechkin and Backstrom - Batman and Robin finally beat Negan and the Governor... wait what? 11 years together and still going strong - does that ever happen in sports still? Also, the hardcore fans. The Bullets and Zards always had a lot more fans particularly back in the day, but from the very start... that group of Caps fans were far more exuberant and dedicated than the Bullets fans. I'd see families with a handicapped kid and a crippled adult all wearing the gear and headed on the Metro to see the Caps - looking so happy back when the Caps were a struggling franchise led by Rod Langway, Dennis Maruk, Mike Gartner, Bengt Gustafson, Peter Bondra et al... and Ron Weber doing the play-by-play. All those people and names I hadn't thought of for decades - that's what I think about now that they're the champs.

Oh Wilbon, you're minor league arse is welcome to admit you were wrong... as usual. Oh, and Wilbon... I'm not surprised.

Bittersweet. Now Leonsis thinks he's the greatest owner ever, which means that Ernie Grunfeld will have a job for life.

Maybe Ted replaces Ernie like he did McPhee.

Surreal. Was there in the early days, through the Save the Caps campaign. Should have won in the previous five years but couldn't get past the Pens. Once they did, it was over.

Very proud to be a Caps fan now living on the West Coast. Wish I could be in DC for the parade! This is the most unlikely year for them to win the Cup and of course they did!

The Caps are probably having the best victory celebration in sports history and Ovie is probably on the biggest
drinking bender of all-time.

No wonder they call Ovie Alexander the Great legend and icon doesn't seem like strong enough words to describe him
