Haters gonna Hate

So when Lebron James does come to the Lakers what are you going to complain about? oh how does he fit? he's trying to ride on Kobe.

For the Basketball. When Lebron gets in this meeting. he's going to like the Buisness stuff that stuff has already been discussed.

he's going to want to talk about the Basketball. Luke will be perfect for that. Ball Movement. how do we beat Golden State. Luke knows that. What did yall do with Draymond.

He's a basketball officianado. I wouldn't be all about trying to get Chris Paul. He's going to want to know where's Lonzo at as a player what's he practice like. is his progression where Steph was after year one? What's Brandon Ingram like. where does he like the ball at. Does Kyle take suggestion or does he just think he knows it all. is he trying to be more of a complete player? he's going to ask the questions. all these guys hoop play basketball together. Lebron is a guy who will hoop at 8 and then hoop again at 2 in the morning.

For these meetings some of yall in here might be against it but I would bring the guys Brandon Ingram Lonzo Ball Kyle Kuzma get these guys in a room together talk plays talk sets. Where can Lebron play with Lonzo. What Lebron can help Brandon Ingram with. how can the incorporate Paul George. Luke can probably say I can look at things I can do with you in our offense that we did with Draymond with your atleticsm that can really make our offense great.

Contingent I would like to see Magic Johnson Jeanie Buss Rob Pelinka Kobe Bryant Lonzo Ball Brandon Ingram Kyle Kuzma. bring in Paul George. I would do this meeting at only person's place. Magic Johnson's. and I would have the top chef there cooking.

Lakers are going to emphasize Family. we see Lebron you are a family guy. this is beyond Basketball. You are family. and when you are a part of the Lakers you are part of the Lakers family. before basketball we look out for each other. this is a collaborative bunch. That's what the Warriors sold Kevin Durant on.

Lebron's gonna be like Damn pick up games on off days with Kobe Bryant. this is pretty cool stuff.

kind of interesting. that I mentioned this not being about basketball and all you heard in that press conference was family. about what my people want. what's best for them. he mentioned winning. but this is about off the court. and Lebron has people that want him in Cleveland. Rachel Nichols tried to throw that comment about playing for Cleveland Lebron wasn't having it. But he already went back and like I will always say he won that championship in Ohio and that championship against the warriors is like 6 championships to me. beating that team. his spot is solidified and like LeBron said the goal was accomplished. now he can go to L.A. and enjoy hiself and Savannah can get her star in Los Angeles.

This will be a simple Lebron to L.A. and that press conference. The meeting when Jeanie Brings in All 16 trophy's. we win in L.A. the Lakers are about winning and it is the ultimate winning championship franchise in basketball. Lebron to the Lakers like I said. Done Deal. Championship player Lebron James signs with Championship team the Los Angeles Lakers.

Sushi Sensei I'm not going to call you a hater. You just sound like a dude who is not happy. and very angry. you are not in the club. and that's you know you. You can't get in the club. You the kid.

What color is the credential that you get at summer league for Team?

What color is the credential that you get at summer league for VIP?

I got both of them so just want to see if you have those same credentials. But hey You got those great Posts.

As for the Basketball. All the free agents see how great the Lakers played down the stretch last season. one of the best teams in the league when they had all their players. I point to that game at Miami the Teams offense looked so efficient. Miami one of the best defenses in the league had no answer for the Lakers and Brandon Ingram looked great that game scoring at will. he also played great at Philly. I will point out we won that game at Philly so if you want to talk about Lebron our squad looked great against Philly and Ingram actually took a big three and made it.

Lonzo looked great in that game at Miami controlling and running the offense. I point to the game at San Antonio where Lonzo made 6 three's showing an ability to make big three's and get road wins. so there were games Where Lonzo looked great.

the Cleveland game where we blew them out. Lebron saw that . how our offense looked Lonzo didn't play great but he made great plays. and Lebron pointed out how great our offense looked that ball movement. so we had our games if you really look at our games and players do that. we played great basketball against some of the best teams in the league. Golden State the game at Staples where we took them to overtime Brandon Ingram was great against Kevin Durant in that game and Lonzo was great against Curry. so we have some things to show free agents and Lebron in Free agency.

What I hope they do is pull up tape on some of those games and show players what plays they ran and how they had success in those games. also the Houston game we played great. we beat teams running great offense. so Team we looked great Lopez had his games where he played great. so I think that can really get free agents to sign here with the Lakers.

would you trade Ingram and Deng for picks/non guaranteed expiring contracts? Clear 23-24 million. that would put the open space around 85 mill. then you might be able to sign 3 FA's. Lebron, PG13, Cousins or D Jordan.

Ball/Ennis
Lebron/Hart
PG13
Kuzma
Cousins or Jordan/Bryant/Zubac

and then league minimums to round out the roster

Nope. There's a good chance Ingram might turnout to produce better than Cousins coming off an achilles tear next year anyways. Even if we were to use someone as salary ballast, Kuz or Ball would go before BI.

With news coming out of them wanting to get rid of dunn.....Any chance Chicago trades #7, dunn for lonzo, Deng, zubac, and #25

We get Porter Jr. And free cap space for 3 stars.

You’re right, but the thing is none of the young players, Ball/Kuzma/Ingram/Hart are above average or even average players. Obviously they have the potential to be much more than that, but this past year not a single one of them was actually a good overall player.

If a player like Lebron comes to the lakers (which I’ve never considered realistic), it’ll be because of other moves the lakers make to acquire more talent, or because Lebron has priorities beyond playing for a title. His reason for coming isn’t going to be cause he thinks this crop of young players is going to contend next year.

Lebron will reduce Lonzo's role.

He'll get more of his assist and Lonzo will mainly be expected to spot up and bring the ball up and hand it to him in half court.

His usage rate isn't going down so you can expect Lonzo's touches to go down.

I would argue that Ingram was at least an average player for the second half of his season if not a little better.

Then they will have to make a choice with Randle. Either Resign him on a fair deal, S&T him for a 3rd star, or simply let him walk.
Then they would probably bring back Brook Lopez on a discount, something he stated he would do if the Lakers became contenders, or they would move Randle to the 5, or they would scratch everything and bring in a player like Cousins or DJ

Projected starting 5-

Ball
Ingram
PG
Lebron
Lopez or Randle or Cousins or DJ.

BI seems like a great 3rd option to me. Can you imagine how good he'd be with two stars opening up space and not having Julias clog the lane?

I know it’s been said here in the past but Tim Legler is such a Laker-hater. He’s basically mocking the idea of LBJ jointing the Lakers because we have too many banners up in the rafters and that because of that, he should go somewhere else.
And in the next breath he talks about him joining SAS. Although he does say the best fit for him is Philly.
I can’t stand that guy

Yay... Now on to this..

As they were giving away the triphy to the warriors i was on the phone looking at exactly this information. Lol.

Our post-season just began. :D

First thing i'd want to discuss is Deng. How can we move him without losing Lonzo/Ingram/Kuz? Would a first round pick + Hart + Bryant or Zubac get it done?

Whats more likely? We move him before the draft or there's no chance of us moving him and we have to stretch? Gosh i really really REALLY hope we can find a sucker to take that contract off our books. Would put us in such a comfortable position for July.

Dude is a loser. Last night he was on SVP and he was saying.... oh this GSW team is lit etc etc and then he says "this championship was literally the easiest of the three". He didn't know they had Steph mic'd up waiting to talk to SVP and he could hear them talking in the studio. Within a minute Steph was like...….. "this was the hardest year we've had". Loooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll…….

Legler is a chump.

Also expect a tsunami of hatred for us coming when we sign big free agents. We got so much hate when were losing it's gonna be a raging torrent when ppl see us getting back to where we belong. Can't wait. Can't wait.

Also that Jeannie tweet about Rob Lowe. WTF.

Moving Deng would be an incredible move by our FO, although it is highly unlikely that someone would pick him up.
If that happens, we can sign two max free agents and keep Julius.
With LBJ and PG on board along with Julius , Lonzo, Kuz, and Ingram, and add some savvy vets who fit in the roles, I really think we can compete with HOU and GSW.

Ya me too. If we can move Deng which means retaining Jules...……… man this team adds 15 wins at least and makes the WCF. Would be an amazing turnaround.

That Deng contract tho…… jesus.
