Key issue who are the swing fir the fences ootentional HR players and will Sac Atl Memphis swing for the fences with Young MPJ Bamba and leave players originally projected higher on the table because they are more safe ? IE, Bagley, JJJ, Donic?

Also what players could be X factors and slip into accepted top 6 ? Sexton ? Who else ?

Still want Bamba or Porter.
Trae if neither are available.

For 22 I like Okogie, Huerter, Divincenzo, Hutchison.
Wouldn't mind a wild stab at Mitchell Robinson that low.

I'm still team Bridges, but would be ok with a healthy MPJ or Trae Young..just don't like how we have to alter our roster if we draft one of those two.

Also, this is unlikely but I really would like the Bulls to buy a 2nd rounder in this draft. There are some potentially good rotation players in the 31-45 range...guys like Brunson, Bonga, Wagner, Melton and Diallo available.

If that Sacto/Dallas rumor is true, and there is any way to move up to get Doncic without trading Lauri, do it. Obviously I wouldn't go crazy with a bunch of unprotected future firsts or anything. But I'd offer #7, #22 any players on the roster and possibly a future first (with protections) to get him. Establish a core of Lauri and Doncic and build from there.

The Kings and Mavs being open for business is interesting. They have to want a young NBA talent with any pick trade, then again, this could be about gaining more assets for the future while dropping down and not sacrificing the talent they want.

100%. Its disheartening knowing all we've heard so far is that they like Porter Jr or Bagley early on. Really hope its just draft fodder.

I have to say, I like this mentality. We should put pressure on ourselves to avoid playing for the lotto.

Your post says Doncic but my brain translates it to McDermott.

If we move up I would hope it is for Bagley or Bamba. I like Doncic but we need more athleticism and defensive potential to pair with Lauri.

LaVine, Valentine and etc are already pure offensive guys. Lauri is so so on D. We need someone who can potentially get locked in on D in the front court with Lauri.

I think I've picked differently in each poll. Finally decided to accept the Porter risk.

Kings could be interested in trading down because they dont own a pick next year. Getting another asset if possible next year pick is likely their goal along aquiring one of top 6-7 prospects in this class. Not mention not everyone wants to workout or play for Kings which limits chance to get BPA at #2.

Mavs on other side I dont get it.

In my mock I hypothesized a Dallas trade down with the Clippers...essentially #5/Wes Matthews for #12/#13. The logic being that I'm pretty positive that the Mavericks are going after Lebron and Friends. So maybe that...

I basically think we should try to move up regardless of who we pick. I am not excited about who is going to be left at number seven. I would be hesitant to trade Dunn or an unprotected future first but other than that almost anything on the roster other than Lauri of course I would trade to move up.

That’s a great thought, duck, but the sticking point for me is that future first. What is the degree of protection? For me it would need a relatively high degree. Otherwise, yes to any player on the roster outside of Lauri.

Start with two superb complimentary talents and work outward.

I think the Mavs want an additional player asset. They have DSJ, Barnes and they want to help Dirk win again.

The problem with any team moving up is that the team moving down would have so much uncertainty about who they would get. This means that the team moving up would have to overpay.

Unless the trade is put off until the team trading down can see who they will get. But then it would only work if the team trading up and the team trading down both wanted the same player at the higher slot.

Very tricky and lots of strategy. So much uncertainty.

I'd move up for Bamba or JJJ.

I expect the Bulls will stay put and will draft whoever is left. Most likely to be available at 7, in order of likelihood: MPJ, Trae, JJJ. My sense is that JJJ is falling a bit among all the Bamba hype.

Would Dalla swap picks if we gave them Valentine? I want Bamba so bad.

Our front court would be so damn deadly.

Not trading up period. Let dallas and sacramento fleece some other desperate team, not giving up dunn, the 22nd or portis or any of this other crap you guys are willing to do for freakin luka doncic.

Btw michael porter jr is liking tweets saying the bulls will draft him on the 21st. He's not doing that when fans flood his timeline with *insert team* only the bulls.

Regardless of what happens the bulls will get a nice player at 7 and 22.
