Luka and MPJ are my two favorite prospects in this draft. I'd be happy to have either one.

As always, thanks for the info TR!!!

Man, I might be alone on this, but I just don't see it with Bagley. He sure can jump! But that's about it.
This draft seems very deep, but is also one of the hardest to read in recent years. I'll trust GarPax on this one and will wait for at least a year to complain about it, lol.

We haven't reached a point where we're trying to trade up, but it's an option. Honestly I usually avoid any draft info this early anyways, think my next update will come night before draft or something.

I always appreciate it! I know these things move pretty quickly and we still have a long way to go, but I love knowing these tidbits.
Sorry about people who give you insiders crap, but reading these posts is one of the highlights of this board, in my opinion.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

I maybe the only one, but I still don't have any confidence in Doncic as a prospect.

Dont be mad, but to me, he gives me the feels of an 19 year old 6-8 Denzel Valentine.

Only because everyone keep saying, well he is only average athleticism, but has really high IQ. Well thats what they say of Denzel Valentine.

On top of that he isnt having any private workouts either against other players. Thats certainly one way to hide how unathletic you are.

i would probably give up a lot to get doncic, but until there is even the slightest suggestion the bulls are interested in him i won't bother getting my hopes up

If Dallas offered you #5 and Harrison Barnes for #7 do you take it?

If that's the case, then you're likely not going to find out until draft night.

I don't think they are all that high on Doncic either, just my personal hunch. I think if the Bulls do go up in the draft, I get the feeling that they will draft Bagley.

I don't know exactly why, but I feel Bagley is getting overlooked right now because for his size he is an extremely unique player who has the potential to be really special. I'm not a fan of his game RIGHT NOW, but considering his age, where his game is now, I think with some work, he could be a multi-dimensional player.

If we trade up to 2 and draft Porter, I’m going to lose my mind. At 7 he isn’t my choice, but I could get behind him. But if we fleece ourselves and trade up for him, I might not be able to handle it.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

DuckIII wrote:If that Sacto/Dallas rumor is true, and there is any way to move up to get Doncic without trading Lauri, do it. Obviously I wouldn't go crazy with a bunch of unprotected future firsts or anything. But I'd offer #7, #22 any players on the roster and possibly a future first (with protections) to get him. Establish a core of Lauri and Doncic and build from there.

If the Bulls are trading up I really don’t think it will be for Luka. People may not like it( I do) but it would be for Bagley or Porter.

Yeah, that's a no brainer.

I wouldn't say no brainer. That's a lot of cheese to eat for an above average small forward who doesn't really move the needle. Especially if you don't think the talent drop off from #5 to #7 is worth tying up $25 mill of capspace the next two years.

For me it would depend if we're landing our target at #5. Otherwise, I think I pass....

He has two years left on his contract. I'm willing to bite on that.

His last year is a player option, and the fact that he is still so damn young (surprised actually), there is even a strong possibility that he gambles and decides to test the market for another big deal. Which could make it a one year deal.

Basically, I'd be willing to take the gamble, because we'd be moving up in the draft, and also adding a starting calibre player at a position where we are lacking. Two birds with one stone.

Woj mock drafting MPJ at #15 sounds more ridiculous by the day...

I feel like I'm in the minority when I say I'd be ecstatic walking away from the draft with Bagley. I think he's more than what he showed at Duke...and he showed a lot at Duke.

I would recommend you check some videos on youtube from him. There are also full games uploaded when he played for Slovenia and Real Madrid. He played vs Russel Westbrook and Oladipo when he was just 17yo with success and they even won that game. Some nba scouts and GM's compared his BBIQ and skills to Nash and Ginobili.
He played with and against ex-NBA players since he was 16yo, winning all major titles in the process including all MVP trophies this year... Not sure Valentine has come even close to that :P

Yep, he is being under-rated right now.

A Bagley and Lauri front court has a crap load of potential and possibilities.
