What more do you want? I would take out guys over Colorado's line up any day and everyday.

I would trade any of the Brewers outfielders for Matt Holliday, easily. The Rockies offense is stacked, and will be that way for awhile.

Not to mention the fact that I would have used Linebrink there. CV has been very hittable lately, and Linebrink is just plain nasty. He gives us a chance to leave that inning with a lead. Now look what happened.

I had to edit this quote by myself. NOW HE PUTS FRIGGIN LINEBRINK IN.

We are on the same page. Why bring in the struggling guy in what could prove to be the key situation in the game then use one of your studs later after we gave up a 5 spot.

Flip the **** script, Yost! :banghead:

We're all masochists for dealing with this team.

This team is one year away, and it's showing the last month

Yeah Mat Holliday is great but there arent any other great players on that lineup. Troy is nice but is comparable to JJ. Atkins is nice but no where near what Braun can give. Weeks if he figures out his deal craps more talent than Jamey Carroll willl ever have. Estrada is a better player than Torrealba, and Hawpe is comparable to Hart. That leave a wash for MVP candidats with Holliday and Prince as the best players and a wash for Helton and Hall. I would take our line-up easily.

Nice patience Prince. :nonono:

Of course I can't be too mad at you because you and Braun are the only ones in our lineup that are worth a damn right now.

Wouldn't it be a good time to use Spurling now?

Good night all, this team is unbearable, if they pull a win out of their overachieving asses I'll buy everyone a shot at the Bucks opener.

I have reached my breaking point with this team. I know the future is bright and we have a lot to look forward too, but that is no excuse. To say we are young, thats fine, but its not the young guys that are letting us down. This team is so inept and incapable of doing anything right. We just continue to blow leads and find ways to lose. The funny thing is, if you would have told me this team would be in first place on August 7th I would have been jumping up for joy, but with promise comes higher expectations. I have seen this team look like World Series contenders and now it has come to this.

Just look at tonight. Once the lead was lost, you knew we would just pack it in. And as I'm typing this right now Brian Anderson keeps telling me that the Rockies are a good home team, as if that is some excuse. The losses just keep coming and they keep getting worse.

Sure, at the end of the September I'll be thinking of what will be, but probably thinking what could have been.

Fielder is having a forgettable game at first.

BTW Corey Hart is now known as Chewbacca.

Just look at our rotation:

Suppan -- overpaid, underachieving
Vargas -- run support covers up his mediocrity
Bush -- pretty much count on 4-5 runs a game
Capuano -- shows promise; usually ends with a 6-run inning
Sheets -- injured yearly

This is why we continue down the slope to .500

This is truly painful. Time for a change at Manager. Nothing against Ned, but he has a "just happy to be here" mentality that can't help us get to the next level.
