Since it sounds like you guys think the spurs would never go for that lets say its...

SAS GETS: BOGDANOVIC + SKAL + SAC 2018 First
SAC GETS: KAWHI (in last year of his contract)
*this couldn't really happen cause the kings can't have 0 first round picks in consecutive years but maybe its more reasonable.
You can't really throw Fox in there cause then you're really gutting your team for what would probably a 1 year rental in a rebuild year.

I do agree...the Spurs may be able to get a better haul this summer from a title contender like GSW/BOS/CLE/HOU.
But i think we're overestimating his current trade value. He's most likely going to have missed basically an entire year of basketball and he can walk after next year. Great player but right now is probably the lowest his trade value has ever been.

Would the kings be interested in Fournier or Vucevic?

I think the drafted player at #2 is just as important as the outgoing player in a trade for Vuc or Fournier. The interest level depends on the pick. If Ayton is drafted, then Fournier is of slight interest. His offense would be great to have, but the team would likely have terrible defense. If Dončić is drafted, then Vuc could be of interest.

In either situation, I don’t know if the Kings will be willing to pay the asking price.

If the Kings draft a big man, what do all of you feel about trying to trade for Andrew Wiggins to play the 3? Supposedly he's not very happy in Minnesota. He had a down year, mainly because of all the other options on his team and being coached by Thibodeau. He has a huge 5 year, $145-150 million contract extension, which has given a lot of teams hesitation. I hear that there isn't much of a trade market for him in one article, and then hear trade rumors for DeMar DeRozan or Kawhi Leonard the next, so his perceived value is all over the place.
If you'd want to trade for him, what would you give up? Would the T-Wolves want salary cap space or would we maybe need a third team to give a good high-salary player?

Overpaid, poor defender, poor shooter. He's basically the exactly opposite of what this team needs at the 3.

Hey Kings fans! Question for you all: If the rumor that the Kings want to trade down is true, what would you want from Philly in a package to move up?

Same topic: do you think 11, 12 & 13 this year would do the trick? As a Kemba for 12-13 and cap relief for the clipps and hornets own 11 packaged with the other two.

If Kupchak can get 12 AND 13 from the Clippers for soon to be 30 years old and wants a max Kemba Walker’s expiring contract... he should win Executive of The Year immedately.

I think the value is good, but I don’t think you will find a poster on this board who accepts it. The Kings need quality, not quantity. If the Kings trade down, it will probably be only a few spots. Not all the way down to 11. The Kings have been linked to Doncic, Bagley, and Porter so far. Only Porter looks like he might slide past 5, but that probably won’t happen. It is highly unlikely that he slides out of the top-10.

I think it starts with another pick in the top 5, a future unprotected 1st, and depending on the team a prospect.

I don't see anything available on either Charlotte or Philly currently to make the move worthwhile. I love Saric but Saric/10 doesnt get you to 2. Maybe 6/7 but not 2. Obviously you guys arent moving Simmons/Embid and we have no use for Fultz.

Philly seems more plausible but unlikely. If you could move Fultz for #6. Then #6/#10/+ for #2. Even then I say no.. We need quality not quantity.

Philly might have already sent the only interesting thing the Kings would be looking at to Boston, the Kings 2019 pick. The other pieces on the Sixers either don't fit the Kings plans or the Sixers won't want to move the ones that do.

As much as I'd love to see Kevin Knox and Miles Bridges end up on the Kings in that range the Kings have had too many quantity drafts the last few seasons. There isn't enough opportunity as it is and picks that late in the lottery just shrivel up and die on the vine if they don't play and build value.

What would you say to 6 and Covington and the top 1 protected part of your 2019 pick that Philly still holds?
