Teams are def calling to rip us off. Nobody is gonna give us a sweetheart deal to move up

My bigger concern is that they’re trying to move up for MPJ and not Doncic.

I wouldn’t do it but it’s very tempting to try to move up for Luka. Did you listen to today’s Duncd On pod? Deep dive into Luka. As I was listening to them go through his profile all I kept thinking about was all the useless wins that the vets helped us get.

If you saw a Ntilikina and Mitchell workout, you think it wouldn't have been obvious who was the far better prospect? Unless Mitchell just magically improved last summer.

The point is they were what they were in college and in euro ball and the NBA is a whole new level that many great college players didn't make it in. I think you know i could list a shyt ton of great college players that were busts in the NBA so all i'm saying is that there's no way to 100% guarantee what any kid will be at the next level. I loved Mitchell in the draft and was one of the few that wanted the Knicks to draft him, but i can't sit here and say i knew 100% that he would be this great in the NBA. That's all i'm getting at.

Frank didn't work out for any team. He was too busy almost winning a championship.

The Knicks aren't giving up on Frank Ntilikina or Emmanuel Mudiay just yet, which means they have the luxury of grabbing Mo Bamba -- who surprisingly falls to them at No. 9 and is the clear-cut best available prospect on the board at that spot. Bamba's a rim-protecting big man with an endless wingspan who, alongside Kristaps Porzingis, will help make up the most terrifyingly long frontcourt in the league.

i would say this is not out of the question. but this guy has the wildest boner for bagley.

he had to probably get a talking to from management to take him out of #1. so, i have to take his thoughts with the biggest of salt grains.

Phil Jackson and the triangle is the reason. I wish there was a way to know what Mills and Perry would of done if Phil was already gone.

Mills already admitted he would have still taken Frank but it could just be him not wanting to throw the kid under the bus. We won't really know the real answer. I doubt that Frank even had a good workout, they just wanted him all along so they took him. The kid was playing for his team in France then jumped on a long flight and had a workout in New York. Hard to imagine him not being jet lagged, nervous, tired and still having a good showing or at least having a better workout than Donovan Mitchell. They took him because they wanted him before the draft process even started, all the other workouts they did were kinda irrelevant.

I don't think it's totally out of the question.

There's a few things that have to happen and it's possible.

1. PHX- Ayton
2. SAC- Doncic
3. ATL- Bagley
4. MEM MPJ... I've read that they really like him
5. Mavs- JJJ... if JJJ and Bamba are still on the board then it's very possible that Dallas takes JJJ
6. Magic- Trae... I don't think they want another project and they need a PG badly.
7. Bulls- Mikal or Bamba... this is the wildcard team imo. If they see Lauri as their C of the future then they might pass on Bamba
8. Cavs- Sexton...I highly doubt they'll use this pick for such a project like Bamba


But if Bamba slips, I can see a team trading up for him before he gets to us.

All I know is that someone is going to slip from their projected spot, if Doncic goes in the top3 and Memphis takes MPJ then I see a big man slipping and if Doncic doesn't go top 3 then he slips to 6 or lower imo.
