Love their TV show but I've heard their live shows are terrible.

I went a few years ago. Thought it was funny but not as funny as their show—they ended up showing lots of clips from the show.

I'd be pretty pissed if I bought a ticket and they showed a bunch of clips from the show. I could watch that at home for free.

That's the joke - they get people to pay to come watch clips.

Just got back from a tour of the new arena, I was blown away by how nice it was.

The concourses are completely open, so you can see the court from the concession stands. It's not like the current BMO where you have to walk through those narrow concrete hallways to get to the concession stands and then you can't see the court. It's a great quality of life improvement. The concourses also seemed to be about at least 2x the width of those in the BMO, it's so much more open. The color scheme inside looked very modern with the black and white stone everywhere, it looked really good.

There are TV's everywhere in the concourses, almost to a comedic level. They looked very nice though.

We didn't get to sit in the seats in the lower or upper bowl, but the seats looked comfortable, and had cupholders.

We did get to sit in the leather suite seats, and they were very comfortable, plenty of leg room. No cupholders.

Our guide took us to the upper level to what he deemed to be the worst seat in the building, and the view was still great. Walking down to your seat up top was also very nice, climbing the upper deck stairs up to your seat in the BMO sucks.

You can definitely tell there's less seats in the new building, our guide said there's about 1,200 less seats. As a result however, all of the seats feel like they're so much closer to the court.

The screen hanging over the court is absolutely monstrous. Unfortunately it was turned off at the time of our tour so we didn't get to see it in action.

There seemed to be quite a bit of Johnson Controls branding throughout the arena. They had a sponsored entrance, suite / club, and lower bowl seating. All of the workers had Johnson Control vests and gloves. Take that for what's it's worth. I asked our guide about naming rights, and he didn't say a peep lol.

There's going to be a pro-shop on the main level that is going to be open year round. We didn't get to see it however.

It's such an improvement over the BMO, it's crazy.

In case anyone is wondering, a lot of the upper deck is sold out already (including the $18/game tickets). Might bite the bullet and buy a pair of at $2,122. Isn't the worst deal if the seats are as good as they say they are and the team is winning

From attending events the last couple years at the new arena in Vegas which has a similar layout, I also think that people will come to appreciate the smaller sections in the upper level. Many of the lower level sections will have 30+ rows and 20-30 seats per row while the upper levels appear to have no more than 12 rows and fewer seats per row, so especially if you’re near the aisle you won’t have as many people needing to get by you or blocking your view walking up/down the aisle. Compared to the BC upper level seats should be significantly easier to resell for games you can’t attend as well.

This wouldn't be an issue if people actually had common sense and/or ushers actually did their jobs.

At Bridgestone during Preds games no one is allowed to come in until there is a stoppage of play

There's 900 TVs in there.

Do you think that’s a courtesy thing, or they don’t want people getting hit with a puck while looking for their seat?

It's a courtesy. All sections do it (where I've sat). The ushers actually have a rope they use to block people until the next whistle.

There's netting behind the goals and the puck rarely goes out of play the other way, so it's a courtesy thing. They were very hit and miss at the Bradley Center with it. Some would enforce it, most would completely ignore it.

They also had those handheld signs "Please wait until a stoppage to go to your seat" or whatever they said.

The worst are the people who make a concession run for their entire group and don't get what everybody wants before they get up so they're standing there. What do you want? Okay, what do you want? And they're standing there for a couple of minutes figuring out what everybody wants.

Went to a Steelers game and if anyone got up during a drive the whole section would start heckling them. Lots of f bombs raining down. It was all in good nature but it really set a tone the game was more important than your hot dog.

Saw on the bucks subreddit that a guy in ticket sales who is pretty legit said that it will be next to impossible to get single game tickets for the home opener when Tix go on sale in September. Also said that opening night likely won't even be an option for 12 pack subscribers.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

I'm sure the home opener will have lots of "VIPs", "special guests" and politicians who won't attend another game all season.
