If the Astros' bats can stay consistent, they will be a runaway freight train.

Ya'll got 7 games against the Cubs/Beers coming up, give them a good beating sir!

That would be icing on the cake considering we've already won 4 of the first 5. Last year we took a beaten from them. 4-14.

I would love to have input on this thread. However, my Rangers suck. So... I shall merely observe.

I have to think the betting line is even between the Yankees and the rest of the field as far as getting to the WS. The key is whether or not we can get one or two starters at the deadline while the rest of the rotation stays reasonably healthy. Our bullpen is looking sharp and even with half our offense in a terrible slump, we are still keeping pace with the Red Sox. If we get that starter, the Red Sox can't hang with us, we've already proven we can beat Houston and something is off with the Indians. I'm not worried about the Angels or Mariners or anyone else in the AL.

Unless the White Sox catch fire, and go on a huge run before and after the All-Star break, we will be home for the post-season! Hey maybe next year!

That AL lineup for the ASG is pretty filthy.

Hope Bregman makes us proud in the derby tonight! I might actually have to tune in to that for the first time in a few years...especially since Berman is gone. May not even have to mute it!

Its about time !! Jack Morris is finally in the Hall Of Fame. Very much deserved ans should have gone in much earlier imho. And I'm not a Tigers fan either. Great job and memories Mr. Morris. You finally got in.

Hey Otis, good buddy and fine upstanding citizen! I obviously hate your Rangers and wish them to lose in horrible ways 99.9% of the time, and obviously Odor is the worst player to ever play the game and needs to be kicked in the taint by a rabid wallaby...BUT, could ya'll do us a solid and go ahead and beat up on Oakland this weekend?

We got a tough enough time going into Boston...so, help a fellow Texan team out. Thanks!

I'll buy you a keg of Shiner if you make it so.

No I won't, but still...

Your team is doing better than mine, so I think you'll be alright.
