i wanted to attend the opener so I could put the ticket next to the one I still have from Miller Parks opener but I don't think I want to pay up for package to do it.

Stubhub tix will be pretty high for the opener. It would be good p.r. to set aside some tix for regular folk. Do a lottery for some uppers.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Damn this arena is gonna be sick.
If they would do the "stage lighting" and dim the audience a la Staples...

That lighting is awesome. They also do it at MSG. I keep hearing it's "illegal" yet those two still do it.

Fegin actually went into some detail on the lighting as I recall and it will not be a crowd dim. I actually think they used some kind of other science or something to figure out how they wanted to do it, but you'd have to find the quotes. A lot of thought apparently went into it.

Yea MSG looks great w/ it too. And you don't hear players complain so I don't imagine it impacts them.

They need to start doing more whiteouts and stuff with the shirts. The black shirts are cool in general but in a crowd it looks boring af. The crowds are going to be incredible this year, make the colors stand out like OKC or Utah does and we'll have one of the most intimidating home courts in the league.

Love the antlers design but I personally like the darker wood courts. Easier on the eyes...

Darker wood would look better with the cream jerseys too. Not sure if those are coming back or that was just a short term jersey.

Good! Anybody have a pic of the primary court?

I despise that logo they use for center court on the alternate floor. Looks so amateurish. That silly "M" just kills it.
I hope they do away with the Robert Indiana "M" design, personally.
And as far as center court, they should use this logo instead of the full thing.

Doesn't look like they've added the naming rights logo to the floor yet.

Agreed, darker wood would look incredible.

I'm hoping for the state logo at center Court personally
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Didn't realize they were so far into the seat installation. Looks great with the all black and the upper deck seems noticeably closer despite being smaller.

Re: Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center (NEW ARENA) Thread
Got my tour yesterday. Not much to say that hasn't been said, but it does look really, really nice. Love that the concourse is open towards the court where you can eat and buy concessions and BMatt wasn't kidding about the number of TVs being at a comedic level. There are points where if you stand you're probably in line of sight of 20 different televisions that you could be watching. It's going to be hard to be facing any direction and not be looking at one.
Still couldn't sit in the actual bowl seats but from back corner of the upper level it still really is a pretty damn good view. I do buy that there's not a bad seat in the house. Even my wife, who flatly refuses to sit in the nosebleeds of the BMO said those were actually pretty good seats. Also doesn't feel like I'm going to fall down the stairs just looking down them on the upper level.

This is saying there will be a new primary court design:
The alternate court design is already complete. The main floor will take about two weeks – once they have the super-secret new plans.
