For this time I really want Messi to win once and for all, although I know it is a long shot.

Why is it special? I have no one to root for now. I guess I'll go for Argentina tho since they have italian roots and of course Messi.

Saudi are playing very strange for a bad team.

Zero long balls, tries to control the ball. Obviously they lack skill, but at least its something different.

Well, I didn't expect SA to be that bad..

Their CB's were horrendous. Props to Russia for pressing and forcing them to handle the ball so much.

Golovin proved he is the only elite-class player on Russian team. Dude needs to get out of Russian league as fast as possible.

I think people are sleeping on them this year. If Aguero actually shows up for his national team him, Messi, Dybala, Higuain and Di Maria are as good as any other attack out there and their defense isn't as poor as years past.

Without the Dutch in it, I don't even give a **** who wins.
but
If I absolutely have to root for someone, it would prob be England. Even though I know they're never going to win.

Wonder how much Putin paid bin Salman for that 5-nil result?

Eh, it seems thats how they play..

Announcers mentioned how they had close to 50% ball control in every friendly they had.

I guess teams just didn't care to press them in exhibition games.

I'm still mad they beat Bosnia in 2014 because of a bogus offside call on Dzeko :nonono:

That boy Besic was locking Messi up that game but the refs had to screw us. Argentina went on to take care of business though and advanced further than Bosnia could have so I give them major props for that. We couldn't even qualify this year because the management is pure trash and the trainers are pure trash. So I'm going with Argentina this year, I think they make it back to the finals and Messi finally wins one

Uruguay getting slept on but not many have 2 top 5 strikers on same team and cbs play together in same club that happens to be one of the best defensive teams

I can see them upsetting France in quarters if both win their group and progress

Don't sleep on Peru. Qualified in the toughest group in the world, unbeaten in their last 15 games.

Cavani is going to miss a clear chance for Uruguay like always does and cost them a game. Book it! Happens every tournament for him.

Meh to me the REAL question about the Portugal vs Spain game is, which player while trying to flop will injure Ronaldo?

I put my 15 peso that it will be Ramos.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Return to New York Knicks
