Now mocked to Memphis.

1. Suns - Ayton
2. Memphis (via Kings) - Bagley or Doncic
3. ATL - JJJ (pretty sure they're locked in on him)
4. Kings (via Memphis) - MPJ
.

F**k that dude. Worst pick of the draft. I would rather Bagley, Doncic, Bamba, Young, Porter Jr far more than that guaranteed bust. We did that before in 2005. Never again!

Supposedly the workout was canceled due to a strained hip.

I bet he will drop out of the top 8 because of it.

I think he goes to the Bulls at 7 and they redshirt him.

Porter can very well get a GM fired. He's 19, but he's already had back issues, and now here come the hip issues. Is it related to the back injury? Cleveland and Philadelphia are the only teams in the top 10 who could probably afford to take the risk. Cleveland less so b/c they're staring down a post-Lebron world soon.

MPJ is such a boom or bust pick. There really is no in-between. You're either going to get a guy that's a star/superstar level first option on offense OR you're going to get a bust due to either a mismatch of style/skill (style of a 1st option, skill of a 3rd-4th option) or injuries.

I wouldn't touch him 1-6, maybe as far as 7, but once you get into that 7 or 8+ range a high risk pick makes a ton of sense.

EDIT: another thing I'd add is his age is a serious red flag when combined with not playing in college. You have a guy who'll turn 20 the week after the draft. He had a lot of extra physical maturity over his peers (he's incredibly old for his class) at lower levels and we have no way to evaluate how he'd do once that physical maturity advantage was removed [in college].

MPJ is probably falling to the 7-10 range at the earliest.

If this injury is legit, one can imagine he's gonna get Harry Giles'd.

Sad because he's probably the highest ceiling player in this draft class. Or maybe he was before these injuries. Really haven't seen a prospect with his size, skill, fluidity offensively at that age since KD.

Giles dropped to 20. But different circumstances of course. I could see Porter dropping out of the top 10

I just dont see Porter getting pass the cavs. The Cavs can take a chance, because if he needs to sit out again and lebron leaves, they'll get to keep their 2019 pick, if Lebron stays they'll have a finals roster without porter and be more deadly if Porter is healthy.

Simmons can't shoot but he more skilled at literally everything else. Same for Giannis.

He is going to drop to the late lottery and probably the late teens early 20's at this point maybe farther unless it's shade. Too many solid prospects in this draft for teams to gamble on the next Oden or Giles.Around the 12 and on range the risk becomes a little more worth taking, but regardless of the skillset if he is not giving medical info out noone is gambling before the late teens but he will probably still go mid first...if he is giving out the info and it's bad prognosis he could fall to 31. But if he is picking and choosing to provide info to certain teams and they feel he will return to form than he can use this to get himself to whatever roster he wants.

wouldn't shock me to see him drop past 15. My prediction, unless something worse comes out between now and next Thursday, is that he goes between 10 and 15.

Giannis was not even close to where MPJ is at when he was 18/19 years old.

Ehhh. MPJ will be 20 in 2 weeks. Giannis was a starter/quality role player for a playoff team in his age-20 season.

I would personally take SGA, Miles, or Mikal before MPJ.
