In the podcast interview with his hometown local newspaper 2 days after the Cavs series (posted here earlier), as well as he kinda mentioned today, he talked about there are ways to switch better to avoid the big mismatch situations (and also the changing the rotations) because he thought they struggled bad on those situations (eg., Miles guarding Love, DeMar guarding Love, etc).
Yeah, he also pointed out roster issues (lack of experienced wing options to guard LeBron). We had OG and Siakam cutting their teeth. He indicated Boston would do better because they had more experienced options. Whenever they put a younger guy on LeBron like Tatum it was good night.
Feschuk asked him to throw Casey under the bus because he heard from someone that there was "no love lost." Dumb question and a waste of time.
Lebron's production didn't didn't really vary against the Pacers, Celtics or the Rap. OG and Siakam did more than enough. Stop with this mythical wing defender who can somehow slow down Lebron. We're not getting someone close to the level of PJ Tucker this season and even when did have him he made no impact against Lebron.
Pacers ans Celtics nearly beat the Cavs because they made they're players look like the trash they are. Only the Raps made players like Korver and JR look unstoppable. Nick needs to fix this first rather than hoping on some wing defender to fix everything.
