The Leonard Thread. Official: Traded to the raptors.

As long the salary filler was Deng, I would trade any two or may be even 3 of any asset on the team.

Ingram/cavs pick/ Lakers 2020 pick/Deng for Leonard. Then sign Lebron and PG.

I think the Spurs will do everything humanly possible to avoid dealing with the Lakers. Having lived in San Antonio for 16 years, I don't think you can underestimate just how deeply they are hated in that city. Being forced to trade a player they've groomed from what they hoped would be a better version of Bruce Bowen into a legit MVP candidate would be a complete catastrophe for them. Trading them to the Lakers might cause a riot. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if they took less just to avoid handing him over to their hated arch rival. Going to be an interesting month regardless. Maybe our most interesting offseason ever given that we didn't have the Internet and social media during the Shaq pursuit.

Yeah everyone is expendable if you can get Kawhi. Add LeBron and PG13 to the mix, it's worth it. Maybe somehow walk out of it with one young guy still on the team.

Yeah, and if money isn't an issue, as somebody is reporting, he can certainly dictate a lot. That's a huge factor right there.

I'm just telling you guys -- they're going to get offers from pretty much everybody in the NBA, and they're going to do everything in their power to avoid dealing with us. Leonard is so good that there will absolutely be multiple teams willing to gamble that they can convince him to stay put.
