I'm not as high on DD as most, I think he's a less versatile shooter compared to Heurter.

DD's a slightly better athlete, both quick twitch wise and frame development wise, and he's a little more developed as a facilitator/secondary handler, but Heurter's also 2 years younger.

I have Heurter as a 13-20 range guy, DD more 20-35 range.

I have a question. In 3 years on another team do you think Trevon Duval would become Kris Dunn?

DD's a much better on-ball creator though. He can legitimately run your offense for long stretches. Ran it better than Brunson at times for Jay Wright, especially in the final.

It's why I have DD so high. I'm a huge fan of players that can play and contribute both on and off the ball.

The reason this class is so good is because of SPACE. I’ve been listening to all the predraft workout interviews and a lot of them really positive. The consensus among players is that there is so much space and a lot of players say it will help them on offense. Allonzo Trier, Grayson Allen, Desi Rodriguez, Lonnie Walker, Trey Young, Marvin Bagley, Kevin Knox, Bruce Brown, Wendell Carter, Troy Brown, and Yante Maten are all confident the spacing will help their game and they’ve talked it in interviews. Apparently Desi Rodriguez has been scoring a lot in workouts and he credits the space.

Moritz Wagner is really crafty with hesitations, post moves, and dribble combos. Could be able to dominate in the post as he ages. Really skilled and could be a steal on offense. He creates so much separation and has great reactionary skills.

Malik Newman is so quick and bouncy, I think the space and speed of the game could do so much for him. He’s going to be a good NBA players.

What else would you expect them to say? They're trying to sell themselves.

Hot take: De’Anthony Melton and Elie Okobo > Collin Sexton and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Looks like Bucks might take Moritz Wagner with their first round pick and Spurs taking a look at Omari Spellman. The Spurs need rebounding and athletics in their front court so it makes sense for them. The Bucks need shooting/scoring and better bigs so it also makes sense.

I like both of those bigs, but praying that is true in both cases. push okobo and/or khyri back to the Jazz.

Wagner at 17? That's pretty high. What's suggesting they like him?

Putting out my Okobo video and writeup tomorrow. Hopefully I can get Thomas out before the draft as well.

Their GM likes Michigan guys. Apparently they loved him when he worked out for them. I’ve been hearing all year of scouts from teams talking about him as a possible lottery pick too. That’s why I’ve been doing some extra research and looking at a lot of tape of him. He’s a really good shooter and can become a really good offensive player. He knows how to use post moves, dribble moves and hesitations in combination and creates a ton of space at times. There aren’t many guys that can create space like that anymore. I actually really like him as a power forward/small 5.

Kind of interesting: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hasn’t worked out with anyone. I think he has a concrete promise somewhere.

I’m now 100% sure Robert Williams is getting drafted to the Clippers is no one takes him before their picks. Lawrence Frank is in love with him.
