interesting that knox is moving up.

still really want SGA. going to be perturbed if we take walker over him. and man would i kill to have an extra lotto pick right now.

For whatever a mock draft is worth, SGA is predicted to already be gone by our pick in a lot of mocks.

ESPN will host another Draft Special this evening at 5PM. It will re-air tomorrow at 4am, 2pm and 10 pm on ESPN2.

Some teams have not been able to bring him in for a workout, according to Adrian Wojnarowski (via ESPN):

“I do think [he] goes in this lottery. Teams haven’t seen him in [a] workout setting for the most part. I’m not sure he’s worked out for anybody. But that competition among those guards is going to be fascinating.”

The Orlando Magic (No. 6), Cleveland Cavaliers (No. 8), New York Knicks (No. 9), Charlotte Hornets (No. 11), Los Angeles Clippers (No. 12 and No. 13) and Phoenix Suns (No. 16) are the teams with the most need for a point guard in the upcoming draft. He may have had a secret or private workout with a team; if so, everyone involved has done a good job keeping it under wraps.

I'd sad Lonnie Walker hasn't worked out with us. Especially since he's been in Thousand Oaks training all summer

Could be he aced his interview at the Combine. Maybe they've seen enough and will grab him if he's still there, so they're keeping it on the down low. He finished top 10 in most athletic categories at the Combine too, and was an honor student.

Miami guard Lonnie Walker IV checked a lot of those boxes for the Clippers.

He even mentioned how impressed he was with Clippers consultant Jerry West, coach Doc Rivers and owner Steven Ballmer during the interview with the team.

Walker, who is only 19, was asked what he knows about West.

"My father is old school and also going to Miami, Coach [Jim Larranaga], he's very old school so you tend to know about people like them," Walker said, smiling. "But it was great talking to [West]. He was very laid back. He talked to me about a lot of things, but he also taught me a lot of things. Just telling me how to prepare for the NBA. Even if I wasn't to go to the Clippers, just how to present myself as a man and how to be ready for the challenges that I approach."

He might of had a secret meeting/workout with the Clippers just like he (and Zhaire Smith) did with the Lakers. There's probably a pretty good chance of this considering he was in the LA area already and would have just driven in as opposed to prospects that may be spotted at the airport.
