I'm now comfortable with any of the top 7 becoming a bull. All of them have something that makes them great prospects, and all of then have question marks.
I will root for the rooks, whoever they will be.

Is Porter pulling a Josh Jackson from last year and trying to force his way to the Bulls?

Re: NBA Draft 2018 6.0: Lucky #7 and 22.
I voted for WCJ with the idea that he himself may not become a superstar, but he is the type of player that will allow Lauri to become one if he has it in him. I think he will compliment and take away the responsibilities that we don't want Lauri to have to do like how Pippen did for MJ (obviously probably not the same caliber players, but same idea when the function next to each other). Pippen took away some ball handling and defensive responsibilities that helped MJ dominate, WCJ could take away things like rim protection, post banging, even some interior passing that would free up Lauri to be all he can be. Hopefully he would be quick enough laterally to stay on the court all game.

My dream pick: Bamba
Would be extremely happy pick: Mikal Bridges/WCJ
Prediction who the pick will be: MPJ

So, who's truly connected to Doncic? It seems like everything I read has teams all over others.......
It's possible the top 5 go Ayton, MPJ, JJJ, Bagley, and Bamba. Which leaves Orlando with a decision between Doncic and Trae. It's borderline conceivable Doncic lasts to 7.

This doesn't need to be said but the reality of the situation is if the Bulls pick someone you didn't want anyway and they bust you're not going to be all it's okay baby about it. That's just life and as far as rooting I think people will be on board as usual a few days later up until the season starts. That's when the real judging will during the season unless they have a breakout summer leagueBigUps wrote:Let's all agree on one thing......
No matter how you feel about who we pick Thursday, let's support and welcome him into the family with open arms and minds. Give the kid a fair shot and don't bury him before he's had a chance to show what he can do.
Many of us will be disappointed, but don't let your own scouting via YouTube get in the way of supporting our new man for a season.
As Bulls fans, we're fickle (Chicago fans in general) so I feel the need to remind folks about this.
Thursday can't come soon enough.

What do you mean, how? Because they are better basketball players, that's how.
Both Bridges have more potential than Porter, "because they're better basketball players."
Nice..
Well, they are. Period. And they are all young enough to have upside. I'll take the guy who improved every year in college and his brother who is more athletic and a better defender and player than PorterJr.. Hell, I'll take Jontay Porter over Michael Porter.

Yeah I agree sometimes this board is a little too can't quite put my finger on it. I would try to explain but since I'm Draymond Green status around here I don't want to say anything because it will be taken as some vicious attack. I'll just say I agree with your post.Sonny_D1 wrote:BigUps wrote:Let's all agree on one thing......

Ehh, who cares really. All of these guys will live out their NBA lives regardless of what you or I say or do (booing, bashing the pick, etc). This forum just gives people an opportunity to wear their GM hats, like a “Real GM”........

In that game I posted last page, Jontay was clearly better than Michael. Bagley was the only one who looked like he could be an NBA star. But MPJ was clearly the 3rd best player on the floor. In a high school game. Before he got hurt.

Other than that, the last full game he played in a post season tourney in HS, was this. He called this one of his best games and the greatest moment of his HS career was winning this tourney. This is the whole game, not highlights, not hyped up garbage. Anybody who can watch this and tell me you still want to waste the 7th pick on him.... well, I don't know what to say..
This dude has spammed the same posts over and over and over Saying the same thing yet I'm a troll
So, tell me you can actually watch that and think to yourself.... "yeah, that Michael Porter sure looks like he has a chance to be an NBA star"..... "just look at all the upside".
seriously. watch that and tell me that kid is gonna be a star in the Fing NBA. Basically, saying that is trolling.

Yes. Bridges has more upside than Porter. Either Bridges.
Mikal does not have more upside than MPJ. Is this what the MPJ hate has come to lol.
Hate? What the hell are you talking about? How is not liking a prospect as a basketball player even remotely equated to hatred? WTF is wrong with some of you? I don't hate the kid. I just HATE the idea of the Bulls wasting a pick on such an obvious bust.
Bro 50 percent of your posts on these draft threads has been about your dislike of the Bulls drafting Porter. You just said you’d be sick to your stomach if the Bulls drafted him. It’s like man get over it. If we draft him it’s because Pax thinks he’s the bpa.
I’m not creating thread after thread about how Mikal doesn’t do this right, posting the same vids over and over again about the guy, saying I’ll be sick to my stomach if so and so player is a Bull, etc.
I just hope whoever we draft everyone supports as he’s now part of our family and I don’t have to hear useless posts about how he’s the wrong choice for another couple months until the season starts.
Just remember whoever we draft is no where near a finished product. Go Bulls!

I’d still draft porter at 7.

It’s hard to judge the back. But he’s also just not that good a looking prospect. Not top 7 anyway.

I don't see any possible way we end up with anybody but Wendell Carter or perhaps Mikal Bridges.

i'm into the lack of concrete leads on our favorites in the draft. makes me feel like we could do something unpredictable on draft day.
i still think the most likely scenario is that we grab WCJ (or one of the higher-ranked big men if they drop to us). but the front office generally seems to be doing a good job of keeping things under wraps. it's exciting!
