That would mean taking back Parsons

a combo of Fournier / Parsons/Hezonja I think I would die by suffocation.

I think we would have to trade Fournier + #6 and take back Parsons in that scenario and we may lose Hezonja to FA...but if it means getting Doncic you do it.

Memphis isn't taking back Fournier. They want to shed salary, not take it back. That's why they are willing to add #4 with Parsons. If the Magic were to do this trade, it will be with expirings like Vuc and others.

Yep, he went to my alma mater Lake Howell High right here in Orlando. He's had several major injuries over the past few years and hasn't really been the same player.

He makes a lot of sense based on what Hammond and Weltzman value but I am really scared of getting someone whose #1 concern is he cant shoot off the dribble. He seems like a better Payton but not superstar possibly unless he can repair that off the dribble shot which looks bad. What do you all think? I know most of you will be enraged but I do think he will be the best PG in the draft outside of Doncic but I just don't think he has superstar ceiling which part of me wants to swing for the fence.

I don't see us taking SGA at pick 6. We could take Bamba and then trade up for SGA, which could actually accelerate this rebuild quite quickly since we would have a starting lineup loaded with athletes. The issue would still be scoring. Our only scorer would be Evan supplemented by AG, so the team would really need Isaac, SGA and Bamba to develop quickly. The good news is all of those guys are high ceiling, and our defense would be incredible.

That being said, SGA showed the ability to put up some big scoring games now and then. If we could get him with a Clippers trade and then try and move up a little to get Okobo as well, that would be our best draft class in years. SGA and Okobo could play next to each other, so I think we would have a lot of flexibility there.

Someone posted the Magics draft board on the Sun's draft thread and it said, we were trading up to 4 and taking Doncic.

Can someone post the pic here?

It looks real because I saw it the other day when one of our workouts was being interviewed.

Yeah I could see that too.

But they still shed $6 mil even taking Fournier, and Fournier is worth the money since the SG position is so sparse right now and he could start on a lot of teams. Grizzlies don't exactly have a SG for the future...

Just listened to Jay Williams on Sportscenter talk about Marvin Bagley, He mentioned Bagley as a position less player and our front office seems to like those players. Our front office wish they could get Bagley but he already be off the board.

I definitely feel they are going to draft a 1,2,3(Guard or Forward) not a 4 or 5(Center or Big man) OR they draft a position less player like they did with Iwundu.

Trae Young seems to be the favorite, but who knows who our front office is the highest one because our front office is staying quiet. It could be possible our front office might be most high on Knox or SGA.

Only thing I've learned from the mock drafts is that no one knows anything after pick #1.

So you are saying that the Magic would have their draft board with their picks and trades out in a public area where there are Media interviews? You actually think this would happen?

They want to shed dead salary. Ignoring the picks, they would love to get Fournier for Parsons. They don't need cap space to chase free agents because Memphis never attracts big time free agents in the first place but getting a talent like Fournier locked in to a contract with 3 years remaining on it is a good get for them.
