This is where numbers get you in trouble.

They eye test shows the same. Klay is limited off the bounce, is not physical, and does not have much in the way of playmaking chops.

He also can struggle at times in off-ball defense. More of a solid defender than an elite one.

His role kinda needs to be taken into account with everything you compute or see.

Context is so big with Klay. That's all I'm saying. It's so many contributing factors that aren't linked to his ability.

I agree, keeping in mind he plays on 2nd best team of all times should be taken in consideration when judging his ability. He is glorified role player - just because he is a better fit on Warriors than, say Bradley Beal, doesn't mean he is better player than, say, Beal.

Not that I really believe in that stuff, but so is Kobe.

Me and Roger Federer share same birthday. Me and him are nothing alike.

You just aren't familiar with the zodiac and the work ethic of your sign like I am.

I understand that it sounds ridiculous, but I believe despite the ridicule. :D

I like Bridges as well, but I hope he's not going this high just because his college team did well in the tourney. Because that's been a proven sure fire way to blow high picks.

Chandler Hutchison is 6' 7", 7' 1" wingpsan, 36% 3P shooter, excellent defender, 20 ppg 7.7 rpg 3.5 apg and in general has shown more on-ball and shot creation than Bridges.

How much worse is someone like Hutchison vs Mikal? Both are 4 year guys.
Hutchison is mocked to be there at 22 for us.

Multiple sources saying the Mavs have zero'd in on Luka Doncic. May move up to get him.

I would take this kid at 22 all day. There should be a lot of solid players at 22. A few guys better than say, a Denzle Valentine for sure. He was taken at what, 16?

For me it’s JJJ, Doncic, Bamba, Carter

I’d be extremely happy with any of the 4.

Would love to see the Bulls make a move to get SGA also. He’s going to be a very very good PG.

I don't think so. His name was always being thrown around in the lottery well before the tourney.

Revised strategy:

Take Bridges at 7.

Take Bates-Diop at 22 (larger wing/small ball four)

Sign LaVine to a 1+1 contract.

Have enough cap space for two max FAs next summer. Sign Kyrie and Jimmy.

Irving
Bridges
Butler
Bates-Diop
Lauri

Looked him up. He’s a Boston based b-ball writer for SB Nation.

Not sure why he would have a reliable source for the Bulls’ draft thinking.

Some writers have random friendships in FOs across the league, but unless this guy has a track record to speak of, can’t truss it.

That tweet 3 days b4 draft screams smokescreen.. More convinced than ever Carter is the target

Thanks brother. Pretty underwhelming list as expected. Lillard really stands out as the only true star of the bunch. This didn't help my distaste for taking Bridges at 7 any

We can probably move back to 10 and get Mikal with the 76ers other 1st round pick. We could get some other long limbed demons

Adrian Woj on ESPN. I hear he is pretty good at what he does. Among many other Mavs insiders. I'll look for links.

Yes, this referring to sources, and not providing a link to such remarks needs to be a prerequisite during this time.
